...I accidentally took ownership of two 10ft+ eucalyptus trees too.

First of the wedding trees to make it home - woo hoo...

:T:T:T Yeah to wedding trees - how exciting!

Did any of the pallets make it home too?:D

Three pallets did indeed the other two were not the right kind of wood and besides that i don't like to take everything its not fair on other folks.

Hope you're having a lovely evening folks - DH is planning some trips it would seem when I popped in he's trawling a few places he'd like to visit.

Chooks are out for a wee scamp about the garden.

Spinach seems to have recovered being transplanted. Good old scottish spring weather.

    Wet and dull.

My daughter found out the new chicks are dark bramas. She had rushed to the feed store, bought the last two Easter chicks and rushed home. I think that's a good gentle breed for their first chickens.
I read even the roo's are friendly and nice. They weren't sexed so she doesn't know what she has. Do you know how long before you can tell?

Dry and windy here in New Mexico.

Not me, I've lain in bed all morning reading :D Very rarely do that these days so it's been a lovely luxury! :j

Not even sure what to do with the rest of the day. Off out for a curry with pals later but several hours before that. Gardening? Stripping wallpaper from the stairs? (Doesn't feel like a job for a sunny day!) Bike ride? Swimming? Find a pal to have lunch with? Aarrgghh, too many choices! :D Suspect you'd pick the garden (also suspect you wouldn't have stayed in bed til nearly lunchtime... :o ). Need to get rid of some more willow, which might involve buying a new pruning saw as mine has vanished, presumed packed... :rotfl:

Have a good one all :)

...not sure about big adventures but...

-OH did bbq brunch (clean out the fridge omlette) - so yummy & no wasted veg!
-load of laundry on - another load sorted & waiting and last week's needs folding
-farm manager came by to organize boiler servicing for us - there are a few perks to living in the middle of nowhere! - feeling spoiled!
    -dishwasher emptied but needs reloading
-working on our last quarter finances  need to bring down the c/c balance!!! then need to sort budget for this month...
    - happy to say all my claims for work have been done & submitted & refunded! - can't remember the last time I was so up to date with that - helps that I now have a work c/c & a finance dept bloke who chases up with deadlines!

    SHHHH I saw nothing.

Yesterday I spent most of the day reading up journals on biofuels from aglae rather than actually reading DS lit review. It was just TOO interesting for my geekiness to cope with.

Just finished lit review have about half hour of womble report to write and then I'm thinking my bottom needs to unsit itself.

    :)
