  • Gein it was ace. And there should be more botanist movies - there was one with Sean Connery in it wasn't there. Medicine man?

    :) thank you for delurking......

Cheery I hope the attic is shaping up.

Breezes in *late* worked late then picked car up. Needed a lie down in carpark after MOT+Service 720 - saying it fast so not to spook me.

Must get on with tea - had a snack as was starving and mutts/chooks fed.

Fire to start (legal like) and tatties to boil.

    Hope you're all good.

Spends today were too much to really think about but also included 25 petrol. So just under £750 quid today.

Puts damp tea towel on head.

  • MOrning :D Giggling at your pathetic doggies running away from chickens :D :rotfl:

Joyce at the farm on the corner has loads of chickens - one of the funniest things I have ever seen in my life is a calf legging it across the field trying to escape the hen in hot pursuit! He honestly had an expression that said he wasn't quite sure why he was running, but he sure as heck wasn't going to stop :rotfl:

    Morning Pips!

I too must confess to no flyladying this week - it's all been a bit manic!

But this morning have attacked the kitchen - counters clear, dishwasher on, odds & sods handwashed, garbage out to the bin & recycling sorted & out in the bins as well! Phew what a marathon that was...

...sitting down with a cup of coffee now...

    ...contemplating sorting laundry...

Working from home today so must log in at 9 & attack the e-mails!

  • Hope the day is going well RT :) DH is at home working today as he's got Dr later, but I'm about to head in to the coalface myself. Wrapping up as its freezing here but sunny.

    Morning lands :)

Lu hey I'll wave back we are off to the other side of the country to walk by a reasonably big moontain for our anniversary - I know how to spoil myself eh? Have fun wherever you're off to - when are you heading back? xx

Cheery - I know, it was a service, tyres and MOT all lumped into one.....my own fault really scheduling them all at the same time but being without a car here isn't easy! xx

Caz - that made me laugh so much - so the mutts aren't alone eh? Hows your season been?

    xx

  • It's been utterly bonkers here the past month or so, but the sunny weather is making life SO much easier :D Last year, if I remember correctly, we had rain from about mid-September right through to Christmas, and I was so depressed by the third week of November it wasn't true. This year, even if it starts raining tomorrow (and hopefully we're going to get another week of sunshine), I know that I've only got six weeks to get through until it's December and once we're in December it's only three weeks until the shortest day and after that everything seems manageable again.
