  • Fly lady mission today.

We are in Zone 3 this week and that is the main bathroom and another room in the house. today you are to choose a room that is at its complete worst!
For the bathroom mission: Take a paper towel and a general purpose cleaner and clean behind the toilet. There are all kinds of things that gather back there on the floor and on the back of the toilet, how it gets there I am never quite clear on but it is there. Grab the cleaner, spray and wipe.

For the Other Room: Grab a trash bag and just toss! Don't worry about anything that needs to be picked up or moved, just whatever is visible that is trash, just toss it. Spend 15 minutes on this, and don't get sidetracked.

Ooh, good reminder - our MOT is due next month too and I've been slowly pilfering all the money I saved for it to pay for holidays and other unnecessary things, so it's mostly going to have to come out of one pay cheque  Silly girl I am!
  • Genius cheery we both should try and do this the way we want next time eh - we can egg each other on.

From the fly lady today, before I'm actually awake I do this and then its done.

    Dear Friends:

Back to the bathroom and laundry room we go! For the bathroom your mission is to do toss old towels and linens that just plain worn out. Toss them out of your bathroom linen closets! You can donate these items to animal shelters and kennels.

For the laundry room you are to go diving behind the washer and dryer for those lone socks and dust bunnies that seem to multiply when they are back there!

Have fun! These are quick and easy

  • One receipt and one towel later. A beige duvet cover (was a gift don't judge me) is now in the charity shop bag with a couple of stray pillow cases still pondering the single sheets as we have no single beds anymore. They might end up in charity too.

Perfectly usable but nae use tae me.

Coffee time and a cruise of the banks etc and probably a bit of womble work. Need hang out some washing. I've finally learnt to use the timer on my washing machine. And me only 47.

    :P

I started freezing fish stock in bun sized portions in the freezer as I had no bottles. So must do more of that today we've got around 3ltrs.

    :D waste not want not.
