Laughing cheery washing got utterly battered by hail (!) and gale force winds yesterday!
RT -good luck with that final push.
Full 8 hours again today, not really feeling the love this week. Not sure why.
Did a bit of shed malarkay last night but not sure achieved much.
Had the day befores tea yesterday. So that's the fish eaten up.
Need to get a few bits still (bread/fruit/snackage) or might bake something later.
Got milk yesterday 89p to add to spends.
Not sure when the childers are back, assuming soonish after exams. Must fathom that out.
Wriggle on, lunch done and gone for himself, must get mine sorted it about half way there.
I'm working with 'silly girl' at work today, sigh. Shes very lovely, but we don't rub along very well.
Might be a long day.
Whatever you're upto have a good un.
Need to sort some firewood later.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

gosh yes it was a little windy!!!!!!!, OH and I are at Shiel Bridge and came a day early from Glen Coe as we didn't fancy towing our little caravan yesterday, holed up in the warm with books and crosswords (puzzles not fallings out) then went sight seeing when the rain stopped. Having a wonderful time though. OH's first visit to your lovely lands, it is great seeing his wonderment.
Hope silly colleague is un-silly and the day is better than expected. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)0 -

Yup I think we call them it too, no clue what colours all self seeds, so it will be exciting. They aren't out in flower yet here, which is a bit dull of them.
Hows the organising going........:pcazmanian_minx wrote: »One of my Brussels sprouts is up!!!!

:T that's it folks CAZ for Xmas dinner. Who's up for it. Clever little brussel sprout.
Morning lands.
Kettle is on I'm on a semi-day-off, heading out later to help a friend with her garden and take her decking down.
One pallet chopped up last night
Early to bed too - logged 22.75 hours at work (mainly weeding) so my arms are aching. I'd be happy but I only got half way down ONE bed.
But its a start.
Blueberries are a flowering, if they all set we should get a lovely crop.
Two in a large tub on the patio looking very happy.
I'm still aiming for an edible for every flowering plant, but we'll see.
One of the reduce things I got at coop yesterday was a 'living salad, which I'll break apart and transplant into a window box in the greenhouse to fill that early gap that dandelions and kale alone don't fill.
Red onions to plant later too. Half a mind to just set them about the borders in clumps. Well they are pretty.:rotfl:Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I need a decent healthy (ish) flapjack recipe. Anyone got one to share or tried these sugar free (processed sugars) ones from Davina link here.
ETA Banks all checked and pretty squeaky.
Paid £25 to CC.
Need to make a small list for shopping.
Dug Fud
Porridge oats
Crackers
Honey
Juice for himself
Bird fat balls and seed
noodles
fruit
Mainly store stuff with a few fresh bits. Don't need meat, might get some fish if I see some. And some reduced bits like bread as the younglings are back soon.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Spends - Quidland £11 dug fud, juice for himself for work, bird seeds and shampoo.
Sainsbugs reduced fruit/veg £3.74 (was 4.74 but had a voucher for a quid)
Mr Adli - fruit/veg, store stuff and a bunch of beautiful flowers £10.85
Combined miles for group/garden visit/flat visit/shopping on way home.
Dug more garden, planted free plants. Resisted plants in supermarkets.

well done on plant resisting :j :j
Not tried healthy flapjacks, certainly not ones with no sugar!
I have a friend who makes 'cheesejacks' -basically just replacing the sugar with grated cheese - which I can't imagine are more healthy but I bet you'd quite like:rotfl: :rotfl:
we did have some date syrup here for a while which was ever so nice in a flapjack - made entire from dates so possibly 'healthier' than normal white sugar but still sweet enough for me (and as you know I have a very sweet tooth)0 -
Mmmm, I'm with Cheery don't know of any flapjacks that don't have sugar in them, or use masses of syrup to bind the oats. The only things that I did do marginally different when making the Hugh F-W's high-energy bars was to replace the peanut butter with mashed banana (he says you can, and it works) and I used some molasses in place of the honey. Molasses is still sugar, but it's at least got minerals and stuff in, that aid a body - but still excess calories
Mind, I also don't add as much sugar as Hugh suggests - but then I've not got a sweet tooth, DP has, but DP also needs the calories, as cycling is just making him lose weight like crazy.
Well done on the foody bargains. mrM made me laugh with exasperation at their YS'd discounts today. Having a staff member stick a sticker on the pack must have cost more than the discount they were making!
Loving that you have bluebells in the garden - we've really 'gone for it' with our bluebell hunts this year - see loads in all different types of woods
