Oh la la to 'tea' at the castle
I know like posh or what. (waves)
So some folks were asking about the [STRIKE]messiness[/STRIKE] progress in the garden. This weeks been mainly about trying to find the edges/bits in the garden, planting up as much veg as possible in pots and generally mucking about.
Warning, exceptionally messy, half mown garden.
Linky here.
Week three and we're eating salad, basil, thyme, chives and that's about it.
I'd say snails too, but adventurous as I am, I'm just not that brave.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

I haven't resorted to snails yet either! Bleurgh. Tea at the castle sounds much more civilised than eating your own snails
I am following your lead and doing experimental basil - some in the greenhouse and some on the terrace (as I lovingly refer to my miniscule patio :rotfl: ). Greenhouse looking lush, patio stuff looking rather wilted as I keep forgetting to water it:rotfl: Must be more humid in the greenhouse so it doesn't mind so much!

Oh I do like a good experiment cheery!
I've basil probs in the opposite way - I remember to water the garden stuff but the inside stuff, not so much.
Well dear hearts I have lost 3lbs since moving here and moving around more, gardening clearly suits me.
I moved about 40 bricks and chopped logs for 1/2 hour this morning before work/work.
I'm determined to shift this stone I've put on by lolling and feeling sorry for myself.
Although I'm bloody hungry now.Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Its a bit of an epic fail. Kennels are pricey so we'll see if we can coerce some doglet friendly types this end. Main issue is holibub is after wir schools go back so most of the families I know up here are back at school.
Something will come out in the wash it always does
Hope you're still on cloud ten me dear.
