Teapot 2 how awful, it landed on 22nd Dec office shut 23rd lol.

We've gone with it as we'd thought we might go up two bands, so its been a tough one to swallow. Did your appeal win? Hugs/

Thanks Pippi, we only appealed to delay the process and the payment. We had no idea we would go up a band because of the previous owners putting in an extension so it was a huge shock when we got the bill just before Christmas a few years ago . I wasn't working and OH was part-time and we were really skint. It took quite a few months for an assessor to visit and of course as we knew already we had to pay but the delay gave us time to save up and scratch around. I was quite honest with him and said I'd only appealed because we were so peed off about the timing and the way they gave no notice. He was quite understanding so I guess we weren't the first!
  • Thanks guys beanie I hope you're ok?

  • Hi there L well the list had the jobs ticked but not all finished. :)Hope you're feeling a bit better.

I'm so tired, no idea whats up with me. I'm dog tired.

Not much snow with us either Beanie but its cold brrrr and I'm supposed to be on a train tomorrow to aberdeen. We'll see.......

Hugs for the lurgy KC and take time for you too. I sat yesterday for an hour looking for jobs and drinking a cuppa - that was my down time :

Cheery waves back. I hate mince pies. Loathesome things. :)

    Hugs and hello

paid finally and apologies from bosses.

Phoned for a p/t job locally min wage but 4 miles away between 16-24 hours, not gardening ironically (pun) its an ironing job but local. We'll see they wanted a full CV, erm, no idea why.

So I sent my full one, that will take them a while.

    Short list today

Group session, more painting depending on snow, make tea, some life admin.

Hugs and lots of them. Its freezing. One room warm here.
