You mean the stock market can go down as well as up? Interesting.0

define "crash": what percentage fall? of which index? and if it has be a quick fall, what's the maximum time allowed?
on contrarian principles, this kind of thread is a mildly positive signal for the stock market.0 -

The last decent down side was summer of 2011 with the attempt to stop usa government overspending.
Now they have agreed to disregard the idea of a ceiling. The FED is still increasing their purchases of debt also
For some strange reason Belgium is in the worlds largest holders of USA debt all of a sudden, nobody is quite sure why but the net effect is there is more debt demand, more spending then ever before and the lowest rates for all.
Europe just decided banks should charge to hold savings, the alternative would seem to be supporting company accounts and returns.
I agree there is a crash but its not in sight. I equate it to prime skiing weather, you dont complain about perfect conditions and its great business. Until there is so much snow an avalanche happens and wipes out the ski resort.
Right now its all perfect conditions for stocks to rise I guess
Before the 1987 crash the market rose faster then ever, so we've been quite slow in comparison ?0
