    My LG plasma TV can pause, rewind and record the programme I'm watching provided it has a memory stick inserted in one of the USB sockets.

    I've just taken mine back. The reason was the the SD channels from my Freesat box (Humax) looked dreadful. The HD were fine. However the audio volume was very variable between channels.
