Headlights

I have just see a woman in a 4 x 4 driving along a C class road with full headlights on in bright sunshine.
Why would she be doing this?
Is it she thinks she is important and wants everyone else out of her way?
Or as it's in Suffolk another case of 'NFS'?

And you haven't got your headlights on full?
Are you mad, don't you know that you and all other road users are invisible unless you have 6 billion lumens scorching the road and everyone else's eyes as you waft about, and you should be wearing full hi vis clothing in case one of your 86 bulbs should fail.
Doesn't anyone think of the children.0 -

What Nun was this?0 -
Possibly living in a rural area, despite driving a behemoth of the roads, possibly slightly less dark than electric yellow, she is well aware of the need to alert the ladies who lunch and drunk drivers who use c roads as rat runs of her presence?0

Why are you not sure they are DRL's?0 -
Why has it got to be some sort of sign of importance or arrogance or something. Maybe she's just trying to be seen and make sure she doesn't just blend in - thus reducing the risk of the roads0

I often drive around during the bright sunshine with my dipped beam on. The number of people that don't seem to see me and just pull out/change lane/ whatever scares me out of ever turning them off. I've just changed from a grey to a blue car so I'll see if it changes.0
