How do we know you are genuine? You could be a troll who has done their homework or even someone that works for Atos or even a goverment spy that gets paid to trawl the net and try to discredit anyone that dares to speak out for the people? As no one on this forum can confirm what you write is from experience or inside knowledge and not gleamed from googling!
I have myself been in contact with him intermittently since the 1990s and can vouch for his knowledge and experience of this part of the benefit system.
I have disagreed with him on matters of political judgement before and have done so in this thread on the other issue you raise (IDS having secret knowledge of DC misdeeds), but a paid shil or a common or bridge troll he most assuredly is not.0 -

Just to clarify tribunal chairs are now called Tribunal Judges. Most work on a fee per day session so are not entitled to a pension. Only full time salaried Judges qualify for any private pension.
Yes they are but you won't find anyone in the sector calling them judges in informal conversation.0 -

No you miss the point. There was a recent court case entitling part time chairs to a pension. Hence the theory. Edit: O'Brien v moj0 -
Thanks, it worked but no reply as yet
So, if you are a benefits and work mod, why did you come here to whistle blow? Edit- sorry wrong end of the stick due to not reading the whole thread. This whole thing is nonsense. The thing I don't understand is how this person's charade is intended to help the situation disabled and sick claimants find themselves in. I haven't had a single pip decision yet on transition.0 -

I didn't come to whistle blow, I came because I and other mods were concerned that a link posted in B & W about JJ seemed to be questionable. We pride ourselves in B & W in providing valid, accurate and up-to-date information about benefits whenever possible.
At first I just asked a simple question of JJ which was do you work for the DWP in an office dealing with appeals or for HMTCS. I received no reply. I then asked a few other questions trying to establish whether JJ was working for the DWP or HMTCS. To date, I haven't had one of my questions answered, and neither have any other MSE forum members who asked similar questions.
My concern as a Senior Moderator for B & W since the 90's, I wasn't convinced that that she was who she said she was, and consequently the 'News' item was removed from our Benefits News section. Originally, I only came on here to report that, but as I'm not keen on people who cannot answer simple questions about who they claim to be, I became to my regret involved in the JJ 'discussion'
As I'm now going to very busy over the next few months with casework, reports etc, this will probably be my last visit here.
So thank you for all for your comments both in support of me and against. I am not an expert as a member suggested. The great late George Bernard Shaw, wrote ' an expert is someone who gets to learn more, about less and less, until they know absolutely everything about nothing". Thankfully, I'm not an expert.
J. Allison, retired Welfare Rights Lawyer & DLA Tribunal Member from 1996 to 2005. Former Forum moderator for Yourable, Disability Now etc etc. Author of numerous welfare guides and current Mod for B & W despite being 73 years of age and with at least 4 chronic health conditions.
I wish all members of MSE Benefits Forum all the best with their pending or future claims.0 -
Do you actually know what UC stands for? Having read your responses over this thread I've come to the conclusion that you don't work for the DWP because even the thickest DWP employee has more info to hand than you currently do.
To the rest of the posters on this thread, don't be suckered in by this bridge dweller.
I thought this person was a troll from her very first post. A WUM.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Right - so JJ / JJ111 is a Troll - but what about what he/she said about PIP and UC returning to their original format - if not names ?0
