It's a tad peculiar. Have a look at page 4 on the link I provided and see what you make of the example there?

I assume then your account was opened or active on 18th of month?

Yes I had read that Steve and wasn't sure that is why I asked the question as it wasn't clear...

Interest for the Tesco current accounts gets paid on the monthiversary of account opening.

It's all over the place. I'm not understanding it to be honest and it raises the question of whether the £750 monthly deposit needs to be made between the account opening dates or on a calendar monthly basis.

Reading it again I think that no matter on what day you opened your account, the interest period runs calendar monthly. What do others think?

No it doesn't. Interest for the Tesco current accounts gets paid on the monthiversary of account opening.

Sorry to hijack the thread but I've got a quick question about this tesco account,

Once I've filled it up to the £3000 limit to get the 3% interest, when I transfer the 750 in and then out to satisfy the paying in requirement will this put me over the limit so will I lose interest for that month?

Also similar question once it's at the limit and I get interest paid taking it over 3000 do I need to take money out to keep it at £3000?
