That links to the Visa site which I'd looked at previously some time ago. I looked again, not a single Tesco. I live in London, but checked all major cities and the same thing. McDonalds, Boots, Coop make about 80%, remainder depends on locations (in my case, mostly Starbucks).

So I ask again, does anybody's Tesco have contactless?

The Tesco near me in Norwich recently (a couple of days ago) updated their terminals to the contactless black Ingenico terminals that Boots and McDonalds use. While contactless doesn't appear to be enabled yet, I'm sure it will be shortly.

Although saying that, both my local ASDA and Sainsburys have contactless ready terminals but don't have contactless turned on. I have no idea why they'd buy the terminals and not turn on contactless.

My local one updated its terminals to the contactless ones a few months back to, and have yet to activate it. Even the self service tills have it, why they can't activate it is beyond me it would make it quicker to get through the tills.

Usually when I go through the self service ones the items I buy are usually under the £20 and contactless payment would be so much easier.
Time is a path from the past to the future and back again. The present is the crossroads of both.

    According to 'The Grocer'...
All 6,000 payment points in Tesco’s London stores have been upgraded to accept contactless payments

    http://www.thegrocer.co.uk/home/topics/technology-and-supply-chain/tesco-adds-contactless-payment-to-500-london-stores/357278.article
The article is dated 10th May 2014, and says 500 stores within the M25 have the facility. Are you saying that's not actually the case?

seems there is no need to set up a standing order into/between your two accounts, for the £750 p/mth, to avoid the £5 monthly fee..
    "we won't charge this
    if you pay in at least £750 each month;
for the first 2 months of your account being open"

shall just do it for 2 mths then, instead of setting up and cancelling standing orders

I take it that you will get a pass for the first 2 months ,then need to put in £750 a month after the 2 months are up.

My understanding is that you get 2 months grace period. £750 pay in req’d from month 3 onwards to avoid the fee.

    roxy28 beat me to it.

How many accounts can I have?
You can't have more than two Tesco Bank Current Accounts whether solely or with another person.

Has anyone tried to open two sole account and get approved ??
Will another credit check take place ??

    thanks
