(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...

Thank you for coming back and updating us. On so many threads we are left wondering what happened in the end.
One or two early comments were about the position of the oven. For me that is an ideal situation - just the right height and with a usable surface above it. Just shows, you can never anticipate what people are going to like and dislike.0 -
Did you use the developer's mortgage broker? Were they any good?Hi everyone,
Just a quick update to let you know how I got on :-)
The original agency contract finished in mid-September, around the time I found a house I wanted to buy (a new build). The new build developers offered me their 'assisted purchase' scheme, which meant I was now working with an estate agent who had a better incentive to sell the property (although I had to lower the price a little bit more).
The house sold at the end of September, with my new build ready to move in to mid-November. After a fraught week of trying to get the buyer's conveyancer to do their job - they only worked until 3pm, and didn't work at all on Fridays - I exchanged on November 28th and completed on December 1st.
I've been in my new home just over a week and love it. The build quality is exceptional and the developer has been very proactive in getting a couple of small snags sorted.I am a mortgage broker.
