Why isn't my house selling?!

I agree with what the others are saying, but what jumped out at me, was the oven.
Whenever I've had an integrated oven, it's either been in the unit directly underneath the hob, or in a floor to ceiling height unit.
Your oven looks like it's been plonked on top of the worksurface. If I was a potential buyer, I'd be having to cost up how much it would be to get a proper unit for it and stick it under the hob.0 -
Pic 1 - unfortunately emphases the steep drive, drab garden
Pic 2 & 3 - yikes! What a mess and mixed up decor of terribly old fashioned lights with the modern but cold laminate floor
Pic 4 - no clue from pics of where you can sit to eat
Pic 5 - fussy decor, looks very small
Pic 7 - no clue it's a bedroom, hasn't been staged for sale
Pic 8 - cluttered, colour scheme restricts market
Pic 10 - drab garden, hardly a blade of greenery
Overall, if the market was red-hot you could get away with flogging this off without lifting a finger; as is, it looks awfully like it's rented out and students are living there.
You'll either have to put some time/money it to preparing for sale or drop the price to attract bargain hunters. Maybe both.0 -

But the knife block - it looks like a Voodoo doll that's been stabbed!

It looks cold and small. Pics probably don't do it justice. Ceilings look really low, I don't think the artex helps. Comparatively pricey as well.....0

Number 1 off putting thing is the price. It's pricey in comparison with others in the area plus it will prob need significant decorating done to customise to buyers personal taste
Then pictures - kitchen the oven looks in an awkward place
It's very dark
Why are there no pictures of the dining area
Lounge and small bedroom / office look cluttered
Bedrooms aren't decorated in a modern style
Bathroom looks small. It looks about the same size as the one in my teeny terrace
You would either need to do a lot if redecoration to completely modernise the decor or lower your price by about 10k + as this is within 1 mike of your postcode

Price-wise, as other have said, it doesn't seem like it compares well to others on offer nearby.
From the photo I think I'd get a massive crick in my neck looking way up to that TV from a sofa that's so close to it!
Agree about a general massive declutter. People really don't have much vision when it comes to seeing past stuff that's there and imagining how they'd live in the space if it's so full of bits and bobs.Mortgage - £[STRIKE]68,000 may 2014[/STRIKE] 45,680.0 -
From the comments above you'd think this was an awful home! To me it is a bit cluttered, has some slightly distinct decor which some won't like, and the photos don't do it complete justice. But the main thing is the price is on the high side compared to possible competition. If you want / need a quick sale you probably need £10-12k off the price, depending on how good your specific location is compared to other places for sale.I'm proud of my advice, if others want to look I say enjoy the show!0
