Oh yes, I am sure my daughter will see something artistic wise and will want to take up a new hobby, and my boy is very good at origami and his flapping bird and f15 jet are so accurate for a 9 year old so I am sure he will want something also so I will be coming back with empty pockets but it is worth every penny they are simply My love My Life. I hope to try a bit of wall art with their names on and that saying also. And if things go well I could well take them up to the Isle of Lewis to show them where their Grandfather came from and to meet his family and they will see why I want to move up there so Ive a lot to prove this year.0

I think Beau told me rats are sociable animals so a pair might be better (his ex has some)
I love degues, if i had the room and my own place i'd have some.I used to go to pets at home just so i could go look at all the animals!
I knew someone (my exes cousin) who had lemurs as pets....think they even had a crocodile at one point :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
What a lovely day out planned, LFW! I almost want to come with you! I would be more excited than the children and you might have to prise me out of the DIY store.
I really have found the colours I wish to be surrounded by change with my mood, LIR. For a long time I hated yellow, it was way to bright and vivid for me. Once my depression became controlled I suddenly loved it and now I really like vivid colours.
Hahahaha! I have always been quite fond of rodents! I have never held a chinchilla before and they are incredibly soft and warm. I do need a rat, though. I have decided that I need one to brighten my day. They are apparently as intelligent as dogs and can learn a large vocabulary. The only problem is you need two because they get lonely.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Yes, it seems you're right, they need ratty company even if they have constant human company!

Glad you enjoyed your day WaS did you take lots of photos? Can you make up an album of your days out then when you are feeling low you can look throught it and see what amazing things you have achieved so far.
I had a friend who had rats they are such lovely animals. I want a pair myself now does anyone know how long they live? Been thinking of getting a rodent for ds to care for but hamsters have such a short lifespan I think he would get too upset if it died
Edit just read the link above no rats for us as visting cat wouldn't be able to come in. I seem to be very accommodating to this cat considering it is not mine lol.0 -
Apparently around two years......see link on my previous post.(I just lurve spiders!)
