WaS went to the animal fair,
The birds and the beasts were there,
The old raccoon by the light of the moon
    Was combing his auburn hair.
    The monkey he got drunk
And fell on the elephant's trunk,
The elephant sneezed and went down on his knees,
But what became of the WaSsie, WaSsie, WaSsie, WaSsie................:D

  • Feel really good today, having my kids stay over again, getting back pay from jsa suspension and that afternoon getting a two day a week 16hr, 6 month contract and have really enjoyed working with a good crew even though it is absolutely killing my back hoovering but I am really enjoying working again and have really saved over the months and actually have a few hundred away. This job isnt a free ticket to spending. I am aiming to have a £1000 safety net as I hated having no cash checking my account every 5 minutes.

    Hope everyones feeling well.

Pyxis - I had toast and shortbread.

Just been to see my friend who has 3 young kids so I had baby cuddles with the smallest. My arm hurts now. :rotfl:

    Hope you're ok WaS.

Welcome LFW! So glad to hear about your job and having your children must always be wonderful!

I'm here! I slept for 18 hours after the farm which is a record even for me! I didn't sleep at all the night before because I got worried about it being so open but it was wonderful! I shall tell everyone all about it after some coffee!

WaS! Double phew! You're there! Glad you had a lovely long sleep! I bet that did you good!

    Hiya, Lostforwords!

Code..Toast and shortbread! Sounds good! Sounds like you're all cuddled out!

Mellymoo, sorry things have dipped a bit. How's the eating today?
I was thinking, how are you with soup? It can be extremely nutritious, but it doesn't really feel like food, if you know what I mean! More like a thick drink! And you can make loads in a batch, and freeze it. Lakeland do special freezer bags for soup. They're gusseted and stand up so's you can pour the soup in.

Soup could be a good plan, there's so many different types, you could start of with the more drinkable stuff like cream of tomato, then build up to more brothy stuff, we had a lovely leek and baked potato soup at work. :)

Its really filling and nutricous, but doesn't seem like as much as a plate of food would
