Thanks for the kind words. W A S no rabbits mentioned. I have a lopped ear rabbit that could pass for a Koala bear. My daughter begged me to get it for her. When I could not see her for around 3 months she thought I would get rid of him. So when we met in a contact centre she came running to me and was so pleased I still had Little RFur.
Another fad Im going through is liking loving colours, all of them, I suppose thats why I am getting back into sign writing etc.
Animals are so special
Thanks again for the kind words0 -
Awww, that is adorable, LFW! I adore lop-eared rabbits and really love his name! I also adore colours, my home is a bit of a mish-mash of all different shades but I like a lot of colour in my life. Interestingly, when I was severely depressed I only wanted to be surrounded by black and white so I figure that if I want lots of colours around me that I must be doing well!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Hes no trouble whatsoever, house trained will let you stroke him but unfortunately he will not let you pick him up which is unfortunate.
I have just found out that Grays Essex has a Store where I can go a get my vinyl from. Just waiting for my kids half term next month so we can all go so that we can all choose our favorite colours, I cant wait, its like a holiday for me.
Hopefully one day we can have a family business, thats if I do not retire to the western isles.0 -

Hahahahahaha! All the little animals curled up and fell asleep on me! I held the chinchilla for 30 minutes and he just curled up in a ball and slept. Even the tarantula found its way to a warm spot and nodded off. A lot of it may be connected to my temperature problems, I always feel very warm to the touch and probably like a warm bed to animals. I have fallen in love with rats, though. It cleaned my whole hand with the tiniest of licks, the owner told me it was a sign of respect.
In between being brought animals I also had many bunnies leaping up and down onto my lap, I never knew that they were that lively! Oh, and degu's squeak! Loudly!
Also 2 of my friends who have MH problems have 2 cats and 2 dogs and for them having pets is something thats helped massivly. No matter how bad they feel they have the pets to keep them going.
Do you think your LL would entertain the idea of some rats? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Aw, I love that you are including your children, LFW! I bet it is like a holiday for them too. I used to love DIY stores as a child. My dad was a manager in a building company and I would go to work with him and spend ages just sorting through screws and pieces of wood and all manner of weird things to a child. It kept me fascinated for hours.
I am thinking of asking our new landlord if she would let me have a pet rat, MU. I totally fell in love with him, I loved the tiny little head peeking out through my fingers and how happy he was to be cuddled. He also wasn't speedy, he moved quite slowly and was more than happy to be picked up and held. I have never touched one before and they are just beautiful. Then he washed me and won me over totally.
Yes a bit bigger than a rat, Pyxis! They are very sociable and can die if housed alone, they have to have company! They are very friendly and very curious. I had one dive under my clothes and try to burrow into my stomach! As I said, they are also surprisingly loud with the most adorable squeaks!
I also had no idea no idea that chinchillas live to an average of 20 years old!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

I have long thought we can influence our feelings somewhat by what we surround d ourselves with as well as reflecting them in our choices.0 -

Perhaps along with House Elf Robots, someone should build robot WaSes, to dispense on prescription instead of anxiolytics! Would save the NHS a fortune!
