Gosh, aren't people on here wise! I think it's SUCH good advice to put to one side the things you can't do anything about.
(I am incorrigible. I'm due at work soon, and have just wasted time reading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Serenity_Prayer)
WaS - I agree about venues for wearing the burqua but think it might be a good idea for the car (especially combined with car sun shades).

Interesting information from the BBC about the different types of Islamic headwear http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/05/europe_muslim_veils/html/1.stm
I am not sure how much of WaS she needs to cover, presumably whole body as a blanket has been found to be best. Maybe this could be slightly altered to a flowing cloak with large hood and possibly veil/glasses as well? Just as concealing but a bit less, er, unique!

(please know WaS when you get back from your lovely day out these suggestions from everyone are made with your wellbeing in mind, maybe to raise a smile too, possibly to seed some ideas :kisses: - all positive thoughts!)Deal with things as they are, not as they should be.0 -

I can feel very claustrophobic in coats. I've said several times over the years I'd much rather have a variety of cloaks, not little capes as have been sort of fashionable, but proper cloaks. That can be snuggled in to or flung open for temperature regulation.
I saw a really nice fur coat some years ago I thought I'd love if it were not fur but faux fur, as it was really big and capacious and cloak like. I showed my mother excitedly and said, this could get me through winter, days and evenings entirely.......everything not animally....
My mother said......' Oh,dear god, no. You'd like like the yeti or Sasquatch gone to seed or a huge, terrifying bear'. So I didn't pursue any idea of getting a copy made.

I quite like the idea of being a huge, terrifying bear. I think it would greatly help with self confidence0

Picking your brains again folks. Does anyone know where I might be able to find easy read / accessible information about guardianship under the mental health act?All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0
