Hee hee just had a silly idea!
(You heard it first here, folks, in case there's a patent dispute!)
Why not have a 'SmartPon'?
That's a tampon with embedded technology, so that after a predetermined length of time, it signals to your phone or tablet!
I'd first thought of it emitting a beeping noise, but thought that might be embarrasing in certain situations!:rotfl:
I'm squirming with this talk of using two hahaha!
Pyxis, the main issue with that (frankly awesome) idea would be cost, as you'd need an emitter in each tampon - you'd be paying ~£20 a packI could probably rig the electronics but it's not effective.
Maybe a reminder app? I'm not a great coder or I'd give it a go haha!

Just planning my grow for this year a 3 day week means I should be able to have some energy to grow stuff.
Thinking about rainbow carrots, kohlrabi, black tomatoes and rainbow chard.0 -
Melly, are you seeking any help for your ED?
I just fell off the wagon. Had raging heartburn so took 2 gaviscon then saw aspartame listed as an ingredient.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I must admit, I think a worktop covered in colourful veg is the tastiest thing ever!
Edit. Just read that back...umm, not the worktop, tasty, the veg!codemonkey wrote: »I just fell off the wagon. Had raging heartburn so took 2 gaviscon then saw aspartame listed as an ingredient.
I'll have to check absolutely everything now! What a pain!
Don't worry about it, Code, the amounts involved don't equal falling off the wagon!
Keep it up! The first week is always the worst! And you've done that! :T
The wind's getting up here, too. It's starting to do that 'whooooooooo' noise! Not too bad, though. If it's really bad, it does worry me in terms of any damage to the house or car, but I agree, in the absence of that, it can be exciting!
Watching lightening is more exciting, though, especially where you have an uninterrupted view, like in the open countryside or the sea.(I just lurve spiders!)

Thanks allI sang & danced to begin with, that was before the anaesthetic wore off. Then I became rather tired & couldn't function properly due to fuzzy headedness. I'm just sitting here in my bear onesie at the moment & wearing all my new sale pyjamas. xxx

In reality I suppose it will be a very short period that the glass is missing for and on the bright side our double glazing has been useless for years so it will be warmer at least afterwards. We need to tidy up, it isn't exactly spotless in here to say the least...
