    Hallo, NYM!
What WaS said was right! Funny, serious, wreck! But that goes for all who enter here! :D
Watch out for Sir Pugliet, the thread mascot! :D
Currently, we are all awaiting the arrival of a parcel which was supposed to arrive last week, but didn't. It was WaS's birthday last Friday, so we've been extending the birthday until the parcel arrives!
Well, it gives us the excuse to be silly for a bit longer! ( Inbetween being serious, of course, with the odd bit of wreckedness thrown in for good measure!)

Ahem, any help on stretching a jumper, please? WaSp has just proudly handed me a surprise Christmas jumper, he knows that I have always wanted one and is feeling really proud that he found it in a sale. Problem-it's a size 12. I haven't been a size 12 for over 20 years. I don't want to disappoint him and he can't take it back so is there any way to stretch it? Get hold of each corner and pull? I sort of need a quick solution, too because he wants me to wear it, eeeep!

It has Rudolph on the front and when you press his nose it lights up red! I do really like it!

I am adopting wreckedness as my new word. WaSp is still on parcel watch!

Where is it tight! Could you undo the seams where it's a bit tight? Like around the hem at the sides, or under the arms?
Can you get it on, even if tight, 'cos that will stretch it, at least a bit.

Pulling might work a bit. Stuffing it with pillows and cushions etc as well.

Are you able to wash it? Jumpers stretch better when wet.

    Try this whitewing- https://www.lostmy.name/

Thanks WaS and haybel. I have gone ahead and ordered it, although I couldn't find actual details of the company so I am praying it turns up and doesn't evolve into a hassle/scam.

Yes, I can wash it with the excuse it has a stain on it or something. I can get it on but then I can't even lift my arms. I shall try wearing it for a bit and then washing it and stretching for all I'm worth. I am taking this a compliment that WaSp see's a size 12 jumper and actually thinks it will fit! (I am an E cup, size 12 is merely a fantasy).

Crossing everything that it works, whitewing!

  • I chased up my parcel! They are very sorry it's late and it should be with me within the next 1-2 days. My unbirthday goes on for a little longer!
