Code, please go to the doctors - yes it can be scary but you need to know what you're dealing with.... and then you can kick its !!! Lots of things can cause those symptoms (eg. frozen shoulder, etc), chances are it's nothing sinister.

Please do go, Code. I had and have those symptoms and it is arthritis, not great but nothing to worry about and certainly not sinister, really common in fact. Plus it took 15 years until I needed medication for it, it worsened very slowly indeed, if it is that it honestly isn't a big deal. Lot of conditions can cause that, that aren't scary. We will all be thinking of you.

Well done code! No reason to feel stupid, it is important to get it checked out. As I said if it is arthritic (and it might not be, could just be a frozen shoulder) it worsens incredibly slowly and you would be taught some physio exercises that will keep it at bay for literally years.

It could just as easily be something that clears up in a few weeks, too. You are doing the right thing. *virtually sits in the waiting room with you*
