Sorry if I've upset anyone - will engage brain before posting in future.
What is body work LiR, a type of physio?
Edit - returning briefly to the subject of opera, I took my grandmother once to see Aida as she'd never been and wanted to give it a go. Would it make me a complete cultural philistine to admit it was ok till they started singing.
Yes, bodywork....a generic collective term for any type of physical therapy work done to the body....massage,shiatsu physio, osteopathy, that sort of thing.
I had the most amazing sleep after wards and managed to strip and make the bed this evening. That might not sound incredible, but I don't think I've bothered trying for a couple of years. It involves two no-nos for me , bending and lifting, and at the same time, and it was FINE. :j:j
If I lived in a town /city then right now I'd go for a little walk too. I won't risk to walk on slippery grass/mud unlevel ground tonight ( I've done out the dog loop and sent them 'whoosh' but I'd quite fancy stretching my legs on nice reasonably level pavements.0 -
I'm with you on the opera Elsien
It's good you feel better LiR, I hope you don't mean you've slept in the same sheets for two years (joking and I have similar problems)
I was planning to go swimming this afternoon, alone, as my swim buddy was busy. Problem was I couldn't keep my eyes open and a quick nap turned into an all afternoon sleep. It was lovely though. I get very annoyed when I lose half a day like that though and hardly any chores get done, not that much ever gets done as I have so little energy

About time for another gratuitous dog photo, methinks.
This is Gitdog's best "you mean you're going out and leaving me alone YET AGAIN" sad face.
(Bearing in mind that he'd spent all day at my mothers, we'd just returned home from a long walk and I was off out for a quick run.)All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Good evening all! So the new landlords (husband and wife apparently) will be taking over on the 28th! Of course it's the 28th. I am completely confused how this works because my rent is paid by DD but I have to swap the payment over to them. My monthly rent is £600 due on the 8th currently. Err what goes to the old landlord and what goes to the new? Do I give a percentage to each? So confused. I also have to call on the 28th (yay!phone call on my birthday) to arrange a new contract. This is slightly more optimistic so far than getting thrown out at the change over but I still have no idea how this works.
On the bright side I now have someone to deal with the mushrooms after my birthday...

Is he ready to start running with you yet?
We got new hi viz collars for dog dog and kiwi this year, they are much better than the last ones. I'll have to dig their wet weather gear out too, kiwi and I got stuck out in a down pour this morning, we had to hide in the feed room, and when there was a lull he still wouldn't step out into it ( big dog and dog dog had wisely opted to stay in the garden where they could shelter under the veranda or in the utility room. )0 -

.
Isn't that what the agent is for, can't they work it out for you?
No, sadly not ready for a running Gitdog yet - he got over excited and started leaping and mouthing at me then went off on one with a mega bullie run doing figure of eights on the end of the lead. Had to stop before he got really silly. Plus he doesn't willingly do rain. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Possibly, elsien! All the letter says is swap the payments over to the letting agent, it doesn't say when! These landlords seem very hands-off so far in that there are no contact details for them, and the rent rather than being paid directly to them is paid to the estate agents for them to pass over. Any repairs now go through the letting agent only. I will inevitably have to phone the letting agent, I am just trying to put it off really because argh! phone calls!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Got an email address for them? Handy for the phone phobic, and also gives you a record if there's any queries later.
And don't forget to keep us updated on the mushroom front - are they still multiplying? All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

That's a thought. I wonder if I the letting agent will do it through email? The letter says phone but perhaps I might get away with saying I am phone phobic? I also have to inform the Housing Benefit people which is a phone call, then hope they swap everything over smoothly. I will not freak out...I will not freak out...

WaS - it is probably better by email anyway as already mentioned you then have a written record of what has been agreed. Is WaSp able to phone the Housing Benefit team?
LiR - so glad to read your bodywork has been so beneficial
Hope everyone is ok. Gitdog is a sweetheart - look at that face!Looking forward to more pics of cuteness! (Matilda
