  • Sorry about the spinning head, oyster. When I get that I find trying to look straight ahead helps and not instinctively turning my neck. You have my sympathy, it's horrid.

Poor Secret Rooster! Picked on by the ladies! I really hope that he can stay, too. I love hearing about him and he sounds so cheeky.

Looking forward to the Matilda pics, but only take them when you feel up to it. We can wait!

WaS - sounds like some great results all round :) That must be such a weight off your mind.
  • Oh, TL, it really is. I have put more effort into not thinking about that over the past 9 months than anything else, I knew if I did I would fall to pieces. I am soooo relieved, I am really not sure that I would have coped with a move, nevermind trying to find a landlord who would take housing benefit in the first place. If I didn't have to tidy up for tomorrow I would break my drinking twice a year only rule and have a tiny one, either that or buy a cake or something.

A cake sounds like a great idea (but then, cake always sounds like a great idea to me!)

Am still very undecided about the future of my 'relationship' (not sure I can even call it that anymore). I feel quite disengaged from it all, almost as if a switch as flicked and I can't summon up the energy to care anymore. I've spent years trying to be better, try harder and it hasn't got me anywhere. I'm not perfect, far far from it... but I am starting to realise that maybe I've done all I can.

Have a meal out with some friends I used to work with this evening, and have been talking to some other friends this week about meeting up soon (the uni friends I'll be seeing take that with). Got a few things planned over the next few weeks with friends and family. All of which is helping me to see that I could really do this, I could call it a day and start again and actually be ok.
  • My heart goes out to you TL, it is a very hard decision to make. All I would say to you right now is do go out and socialise with your friends and family gain the confidence to do that. Whether you stay or go the confidence that gives you will only help you whatever decision you make. Work on making yourself feel worthwhile and enjoy the fact you have friends that want to see you and love your company, you will find strength in that to either try again or start anew.

Dog dog has ( with the others) had to be locked away all morning while I was in a meeting at home.

I just let her in at with in a flash she was in position on the sofa. She hates being locked away from me. Its her worst thing.

Max is the same- hates to be away from us. Quiet happy soon as he gets his cuddles.

I bought some tights very similar to that last week (think they're the same make) - they are fleece lined and may be the best item of clothing I've ever purchased :)

Fleece lined tights? I must have.

Dog dog is very cute. Dumbass dog is in the huff with me as I'm not petting him enough and paying attention to my laptop. He's doing big dramatic sighs and has taken himself off to his bed with lots of looks over his shoulder. Like a teenager. He has however, made friends with loads of other dogs today.

    AFM ... penguin.

I just binged. Feel crap now.
