This vicious -looking cactus is called 'Mother-in-law's cushion. In your case perhaps it should be Brother-in-law's?

Codemonkey glad you did not find me insensitive. Sorry to hear you have had friends with PTSD- it really is an awful illness.I really do have a spare ear or shoulder for you (or any of you) any time.
Elsien what a gorgoeus photo- he is a stunner.
Pyxis loving those cupcake pictures- very tempted to have a go.
WaS what a thoughtful gift.
LIR How are you feeling today?
I am snuggled in bed with little one watching RIO- she is very tired after an afternoon playing with Nannie and Grandad but cant sleep so is snuggled in tight for cuddles. Daddy and Max are having boy time snuggles on the sofa watching boxing and sport.
Little one was very excited when we tried on the halloween costume i had brought her earlier- a witch with net codbweb skirt. She kept pulling the skirt wide like they do at ballet.
We went on a nice family walk earlier- Max with his entourage- he did some lovely stop and waits whilst we waited for little one and daddy to catch up. Did anyone have any ideas on his refusal to walk unless little one going?Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310

How about little and often, starting with one minute outside and working up to 20minutes, picking him up if necessary, but always accompanied by chicken treats!
(If proprietary treats don't work, I guarantee fresh roast chicken titbits will! The only time I ever saw a murderous look in my dog's eyes was when there was roast chicken! :rotfl:)(I just lurve spiders!)

LOl picking him up? He is 23kg!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Will give the little and often a go- thats a good idea. Cant use chicken sadly as Max intolerant to all meat- he has food allergies/inflammatory bowel condition. He can have cheese, eggs, some fish based treats, white fish etc. He has to have a bland fish and potato dry food- so i jazz it up with things he can have otherwise he refuses to eat. He loves cheesy scrambled eggs... Will use some of his favourites.
Really good idea thank you.
We are all going out again tomorrow- Max and his entourage. He is really quite sweet as he stops to wait for little one and always knows where she is and often gives her a kiss at the start of our walk. He also loves to snuggle up with her and I to watch her favourite films. Sometimes he rests his head on her lap.
On her birthday little one excitedly ran into the living room past all the presents including her new easel and kitchen and trotted straight into the kitchen to see 'her' Max. She always runs to see him the second we get back from anywhere. It is so cute.

Lol he is smaller than a labrador about 3/4 of the size. He is a hotchpotch... part staffie, bit of jack russell and possible bit of lab and who knows what else.
I am rubbish trying to get the pictures on here. Perhaps someone far better with technology than I could add if I email?Make £10 a day challenge November £125.60/310
