That is a very good point. I am looking at it for using for eczema so I suppose what condition you are using it for would depend on the reaction. You are also right to point out that not everyone suffers with the same side effects.
My sister used to use it eczama :) seemed to help quite a bit

Glad you're ok WaS, and so happy you're still on e cigs and that wASP has joined you. :) I'm still using mine too (though i appaear ot have a fondness for the fruit mix flavour, beau says it tastes/smells like cooking apples :p )

I hate blood tests, they can never get it out my arms so has to be taken from the back of my hand _pale_

And these can change to things you've been used to with some of these pesky skin things. Fir has psoriasis and is having a flare again ATM, things he's used on prescription for ages seem to be aggravating things terribly. He's asked for a referral to a dermatologist ( usually he manages it REALLY well himself so doesn't need to see anyone regularly) so hopefully will get some advice of things to help soon. :)
  • I wonder if as well as helping my flaky skin if the cream might help my psoriasis, too? I have a steroid cream for it when it flares but I can't use it until it is bad because it thins the skin. I could do with something that I could use daily.

I am currently smoking vanilla, MU! It tastes like Cornish ice cream!

I'd ignore my advice of adding an essential oil to it for a while, but yes. Dh's. uK dermatologists have advised this used as soap and something else on script as a moisturiser, hang on, I'll go check.....

    Edit: cetraben is the moisturiser.

DH is meant to moisturise heavily morning and night plus other times if he showers at other times ( e,g. If he goes to the gym at lunch time). He looks youthful IMO!

Second edit. So, after my wonderful session with body worker today....really good progress this morning! I came home to a letter for. GP saying my liver and kidney blood tests had caused concern and I have to arrange others. Must stay stable, must stay stable. If I don't stay stable I'm not a candidate for surgery aiui. I must have similar or better results next time.

Don;t know which e cig brand you use, but here we have one called |mirage and they have some really nice flavours. The vanilla custard is lovely! :D

  • Thank you, LIR I shall ask my GP for some. Right now I have the steroid skin cream and scalp application but that's all. I do think if I had something that I could use daily it might improve things.

Hang in there, hopefully the results are just a blip. My kidney results are always borderline due to Lupus but no one really worries unless it gets worse. Crossing everything for you.

Oooh, I want to try vanilla custard, MU!

I don't smoke I gave up years ago. However I do miss it sometimes I would never go back, couldn't afford it for a start. Although I have found myself wanting to try e cigs like WaS says I miss the habit of smoking rather than the taste. I also love the sound of all the nice flavours. I wonder if there have been any studies done on how many people have either returned to or taken up smoking due to the e cigs? I won't but must admit I am tempted.
  • Someone I know with years of eczema/dermatitis uses a tiny amount of steroid cream for about 6 weeks, then switches to the other system - his own urine, mixed with a little glycerine to make it stick. Don't knock it, stone workers/brickies have always sworn by peeing over their hands at the end of the day.
