I'm hoping I've actually got over this cold, now. It's been nearly two weeks, and I've missed loads of stuff. Tried to be up and about a couple of times, but that was a mistake! The problem is that it sets off something else I've got, so it drags on and on. Don't feel too bad if I stay in bed, but if I try and do normal stuff, it comes back. I've been inhaling essences of rosemary, tea tree and orange in hot water for the last two days, and it may be helping. Who knows?
Blimming nuisance, though, especially as I live on my own! Missed all my classes! One reason why the house is in a state! (My excuse, anyway!)

Penguins! On the news at the moment! Damage to Hunstanton Sealife Centre during the last winter storms, necessitating evacuation of lots of the creatures in the aquarium to other zoos, while the damaged ones were rebuilt. Now they're being brought back.

Jojobaby, if you know that MacBook Air is the same as the iPad Air, I will post you instructions how to do photos. It's a bit convoluted, so I won't post the instructions until I know that you can use them.

I'm in a good mood as I am meeting a friend for dinner later the going to the rock soc social to meet all the new freshers and catch up with other friends though I have work tomorrow (and want to skype a certain someone before bed ) so won't be out too late.

Even though I graduated 8 years ago, I kind of joined the rock society about 4 years ago, it was when I was still quite ill and I recall my psychiatrist telling me I was isolating myself too much so should try somehingn new and meet people, I'm so glad I went that first night as everyone was so welcoming and I have made some wonderful friends, it feels nice to be a part of something

Good news here! WaSps aunt is staying until Sunday, he has a whole week to relax! The poor man has slept for hours so far, he is unbelievably tired now that he isn't running on adrenaline anymore. So...we have decided to make this the week that I get to the beach. Granted at night time when no one is about but I said that I would see the sea once this year so this week it is. I am over the moon, excited and terrified all at once!

Bil is mysterious in his absence...

My head is healing but so itchy! The nurse said it was fine yesterday but to keep the dressing on until I didn't want to scratch. I want to scratch!

I appear to have scratched myself in my sleep :eek: I look like I've been in a fight with a moggy, most bizarre.

The lovely guy is as lovely as ever. ^_^ he's trying to sort out some leave so he can come and stay. I must say it's nice waking up to good morning texts!

Day 4 and no smoking! WaSp is now puffing away on one, too except they make him want a cigarette! It isn't quite meant to work that way...

I feel like I have a nest of ants on my head! My finger isn't too bad but the one on my head is ridiculously itchy! The nurse put extra padding on it so I can't hurt it if I do scratch and told me to gently pat it instead. Not working!

Tell you what, depending on the light levels and whether your camera will cope, how about snapping Sir Pugliet on the beach? Talking of snapping, don't let a crab carry him off!
Shame you can't make a sand castle! He'd be in his element then, guarding the 'drawbridge'!

What a good idea! I have to take a photo of Sir Pugliet on the beach! WaSp suggested I won't need a blanket as it will be night. He got glared at but I am wondering if I can maybe take one in the car and manage to be on the beach without one? It's worth a try.

My e-cig company is still so small that the owner emailed me this morning and asked how it was going? That's it, I can't ever smoke again now because I have guilt about letting him down. He might think is product is a failure, I can't do that to the poor man!

WaS - Of course it worth a try, if you have a blanket with you will that lower your anxiety or will you just be tempted to use it because you have it? I am so excited for the possibility of you getting to the beach Sure Sir Pugliet will look very fetching guarding the drawbridge of the sand castle in the moon light, just wrap up warm as its pretty nippy at night this week


MU - not wishing to rain on your parade but can I just offer a word or two of caution without getting random things thrown at me? Remember you've only met this guy once and have only been in contact over the net for a short period of time, I'm sure he is probably genuine, but he might not be. Please be careful if you intend to give him your address and invite him to stay. At least you have housemates around.
