It was the ending that sold me on it, I'm a sap.
Oh, oh forgot to mention my e-cig arrived! It tastes like ice cream! I am going to give this a try once it's fully charged, wish me luck!Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Considering that Dr Who is meant to be a kid's programme, I have no idea what that was all about.
I've decided that being on here and watching TV at the same time is counterproductive. I type gibberish and completely fail to follow any storyline. My days of multi-tasking are clearly behind me.All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

I can't do anything but watch it either, elsien. My ability to multi-task flew out of the window a long time ago. Plus I have to really concentrate on the story lines because my mind tends to drift and nothing good lies there. It is largely why I don't read fiction anymore, I will focus on one part of the story and then create my own story based around it and get far too caught up in it to be healthy. Watching Doctor Who actually takes me a huge effort but I still try.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Well if you got as far as understanding the ending, you did far better than me.
You'll be pleased to know that Giddog can't multi-task either. He has to put his stick down to have a wee. And he has a complete inability to hear anything I say as soon as any thought crosses his little pea brain. :rotfl:
Must be hard not being able to read fiction, I can't imagine not being able to have a couple of books on the go. How are you with things like biographies?
BTW I meant to ask, how's the bio-ethics going? I thought of you the other day when I was listening to the radio and they were talking about Moocs. Which I'd never heard of before then realised your on-line thingy was one. If it wasn't for you, I'd probably have tuned out at that point but it was an interesting listen.
And if anyone is interested:

Well, I've heard of having a cool smoke, but icecream?I've decided that being on here and watching TV at the same time is counterproductive. I type gibberish and completely fail to follow any storyline. My days of multi-tasking are clearly behind me.
Ah, but that's not multi-tasking, that's multi-thinking! I'm in two minds as to whether that's possible!(I just lurve spiders!)

Yes! My course is indeed a MOOC. I am loving it but haven't mentioned it lately as we are studying penguin things, believe me there are penguins everywhere on this course! Fortunately none trigger me so far, this weeks was euthanasia. It is so interesting though, I am learning so much about the laws which are murky to say the least! I only have 4 weeks left but I am going to find another course.
I tend to be better with non-fiction but desperately miss fiction. The problem is that I relate too much to the characters and they become real to me, this goes through the roof if I am psychotic at the time. I have found myself confused whether real life or the story is real and thinking that I personally know the characters. I avoid tv for the same reason. I used to read constantly so it is very frustrating.
Honestly, the e-cig is yummy! It tastes so nice, just like vanilla icecream! It isn't quite the same as smoking as there is no slight burn to the throat (believe it or not this becomes a good thing once you are addicted) but I shall certainly give it a try. If I can swap over to it, it would be so much more healthier and still has the nicotine so my medication shouldn't mess up.
