    I will pm you SDW!

Yay, MU! another trekkie! There are more of us about than you might think!

I am fangirling everywhere, Pyxis! The most impressive thing? You stood on the bridge of the TNG Enterprise!!!! Jealous doesn't even sum it up! I would think all my birthday's had come at once! I would have dived for the chair even if they threw me out yelling "Engage!".

I have a model of the TNG Enterprise as my alarm clock. It speaks Klingon and when you separate the saucer section it makes the whooshing sound of going to Warp Speed.

(Ok, now I sound really sad. Still want a tribble...)

I want that alarm clock! What does it say in Klingon? Get up you layabout? or some such?

Bet you didn't have a Star Trek credit card, though, did you? I did!:p

It was a special edition one. It lasted about three or four years, then they stopped doing it. :(

    Got it and thank you!

A Star trek credit card?! I want! I shall have to find the instruction book and find out what it says in Klingon, it had the option of the computer voice or Klingon to wake you up, of course I chose the latter!

  • Loving the Trekkie talk, I'm not one but it has started my day with a smile, the alarm clock and little and large Hettys, what fun :D

Trekkies, Very tenuous link, but rougier lamps appeared in Star Trek a bit, i think maybe Picard had one, but also have read they appeared more than once. A house warming gift here was a pair of rougier lamps. ( not the same ones as in Star Trek though)

So is anyone going to admit to speaking Klingon?Or have I been watching too much Big Bang theory?
    (Off to google rougier lamp.)

Yes there was a lamp. I think it was part of Picard's ancient artefact collection!

No, I don't speak Klingon. I prefer the more mellifluous tones of Italian! Anyway, there's a dearth of Klingon au-pairs on whom one may practice!
I can just about do the Vulcan greeting thing with the fingers, though, if I concentrate! Can't raise one eyebrow though, like Spock! Would love to be able to, as it can speak volumes!

    Ain't facial muscles wonderful! :D

I think we should have a sub-thread on BBT! I Looooooove it!

We've arrived safely at our holiday. Despite scary notices all the way down saying the A23 was closed south of the M23, it wasn't :D

PS So glad DD loved baby Hettie! :heart2:

DD loved hetty baba so much that she made me promise not to pack either vacuum away. When she comes home later, daddy is going to vacuum with hetty mama and she is going to use hetty baba. She is so looking forward to it!

I told DH that the thread wants a photo. He will take one on his phone but it may take a few days to get it uploaded.
