Hahahaha! It was a joke really, because the Dutch for clock is......klok! :)

    What's capoeira?

Capoeira is a brazilian martial art, kinda hard to explain but it is somewhere between dancing and fighting, African slaves in brazil were not allowed to do martial arts incase they rebelled so they invented this instead. Maybe youtube it for a better explanation!

So glad you're getting a door at long last! Now all you need is a drawbridge and a moat!

Hmm, no moat, but we have a ditch......can that count? :rotfl:

It has a little path over it by the front door, but then disappears for a bit where we park before continuing along the road. Digging out ditches is on my list of things we have to keep doing. :(. We did the one by the house two years ago and you'd hardly know.

I'd love to know what countries you've worked in JOBA, (if I can call you that?) I'm obsessed with people in other countries do tell! In my past life I must've come from somewhere else, but not sure where yet hence my obsession with travel ....

Hey Duke, of course you can call me JOBA
I have worked in many many places, I will try and list them, but probably will miss some....

Norway, Cameroon, Congo, Angola, Equatorial Guinea, Finland, Panama, Spain, Qatar, Australia, India, Netherlands, Germany, Jamaica, Mexico, Germany, Sweden, Morocco

...and that was all for one employer!

There's an online quiz somewhere, "How posh are you?", but it was very strange! Some of the questions were weird! Like, " do you have a mantelpiece?" Derr!

It's interesting how people define 'posh'!

Gosh! (Which rhymes with posh!) JoBa! I shan't ask what you do, as it might identify you, but crumbs! All those countries! (I'm thinking oil, but don't say if you don't want to!)

    WaS,

Remind me again why MIL can't move to your town? Is is for health reasons, or because of the stress of moving her?

Could MIL come and stay at yours during the weekend? I know you won't have WaSp to yourself then but it may be better than nothing?
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.
