Yes, still on my period, this is probably what I get for saying that it doesn't affect the chemicals.

I am trying to place dots of lightness into the blackness. I know that might sound odd to people but I am extremely visual and the images I see in my mind can seem as real to me as this world so I can go there very easily. Fortunately it is relatively easy to alter things I see in my mind.

I am definitely feeling better and now my tongue is numb from the anti-psychotics. I actually think interacting here has helped me focus.

You are all real and this is really happening, yes? just checking...

Yep, we're here. While you're placing your dots of light, try to see the constellations if you know them. I've always wanted to know a bit more about astronomy and one of these nights I'll be going outside with my star chart, as my knowledge at the moment is limited to Orion and his belt.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Yes it's fascinating! Another easy one is Cassiopeia, because it has the shape of a 'w'.
And The Plough, (Ursa Major) which looks like a square pot with a curved handle!

    See below:

    "1 Find the Plough
The Plough is a shape or ‘asterism’ found in the constellation of Ursa Major, the Great Bear. It’s a good place to start because it’s a recognisable shape. It’s also close to the north pole of the sky, meaning it’s always visible in the night sky.

2 Move from the Plough to the Pole Star
The two right-hand stars of the Plough are known as the Pointers. Extend an imaginary line between them and out of the Plough and they’ll point to the Pole Star, which is also called Polaris.

3 Trace the shape of Ursa Minor
The Pole Star is the main star of the constellation Ursa Minor, the Little Bear. This is shaped like a smaller, fainter version of the Plough and you can trace its form arching off from Polaris. Well done, you’ve found a new constellation.

    4 Move on to Cassiopeia
Continue on in the same direction you took from the Plough to Polaris, for around the same distance again. You’ll find the distinctive ‘W’ of stars that make up the constellation of Cassiopeia. That’s it, a successful star-hopping session."

    Hank Marvin.

That blooming advert has been on, and leads to a general discussion of cockney rhyming slang, which my DH thinks is really weird and pointless. So he has just accidentally called it Cockney Sliming Rang. That has made me laugh - that there now is Rhyming Slang for rhyming slang. (He also told me not to put it on the thread but never mind).

I'm a bit thick and didn't understand from the first adverts that it was rhyming slang. I had no idea what Hank Marvin had to do with food.

  • I have constellations and a planet in the darkness, that feels a lot better. I feel silly now because I sat and suffered for 4 hours and writing here has really helped. Sometimes I feel random panic at using coping strategies like writing and I don't really know why but if I do them then it helps.

Without being mean to my partner writing is easier than talking because my words come out confused and it is hard to talk, plus I avoid giving him details about it because he becomes upset as he can't fix it. He doesn't realise that asking me what he can do and getting frustrated (with the illness, not with me) makes things more difficult for me.

I am still very anxious but the other worlds have receded and the depression is a little better. Thank you so much for being there for me.
