I now have the delightful task of taking a sample of my 'stools' to the doctor. I won't go into details but I am relieved that I don't have to poop into a jug!
Thank you all for discussing the coil. I now have talked to the GP and have an appointment booked.
WaS, I think you are doing incredibly well. You are starting to face things that you have been scared for years to deal with. I would imagine that will have an effect on your memory for the time being, but it will get better hopefully as you lay some things to rest.
I am not surprised you have headaches with the number of folks in your head!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Hope everything is ok, whitewing. Well done on making an appointment for the coil fitting.
Aw, thank you. I do the Cushion of Great Anxiety is something that needs to be tackled and I can't do it alone or I will just end up stuffing everything back behind there again,
Apparently flaxseed oil will work fine for my eyes. I need to get some from a Health Food shop so that is another trip for my partner. All in all with grocery shopping, buying me a box file, finding flaxseed oil and getting my prescription he is going to be busy tomorrow! Fortunately he enjoys getting out. I'd be lost without him.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Putting your box file in the cupboard of doom is fine, you'll know where to find it when the next bill arrives.

When I started facing up to my mh problems I didn't feel like a person with mh pronblems, I felt that I was a mh problem. I lost myself totally. But as I get better, I understand that it is just a part of me that I have to accept and work with. I am rediscovering and renewing my personality.
(The test is just to see if I have an infection rather than it being from the meds. I am impressed by the GP's thoroughness).:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Flying visit just wanted to say 'here here' to Elsien. Spot on!
WaS one thing at a time and the lucky dip idea may put a slightly more friendly note to the Cushion. We're all here to make suggestions/act as a sounding board/vent/talk through stuff/share scaredness
I'm now learning about chronic illnesses too, I know nothing about lupus etc. So thanks to all of you for your explanations.
Well done white wing, don't forget to take preventative painkillers. I didn't feel anything but I had prepared.
