i just received a claim form from one insurance company total amount of 12500. i have decided to ignore it. can the court make judgement if my address details are incorrect, since the door number is incorrect. worst case scenario i will just claim bankruptcy but for time being i will just ignore it.0

Everyone on here has said to not ignore it. Do you think if you ask the question often enough people will suddenly have a change of heart?0 -
If you ignore the court papers judgment will be entered.
It will only be when the bailiffs come knocking and the occupant at the address where service has arisen will tell the bailiffs where you live. Odds are the process would then have to start again with re-service of the proceedings at your correct address.0 -
I shall provide update over next 6 years for anyone else that decides to ignore them. People do actually get away with them. It may be luck or it may not but I will test this system. I have nothing to lose0

If ignoring them and hoping it does not go to court is your plan, the other party seem to have demonstrated they will pursue this by spending money on issuing court proceedings against you.
If you ignore them they will just give judgement against you.0 -

So do you plan to continue insuring vehicles without giving the correct background info as to previous bans/ convictions etc?0 -
An update for those who are interested.
I have had no financial problems. No one is after me. Ignoring them was probably the best thing I have done.
I personally think there are bigger fish to go after than some one like myself . If you find yourself in the same situation and have nothing to lose. Ignore all insurance companies and court letters. They can't force you to pay.
I do have 2 years to go from date of incident. I shall update again in 2 years.0 -
