 Evening all, nice to see lots of positive debt busting going on!
I have spent some time number crunching this evening, poring over my spreadsheets and seeing how 2015 is going to pan out hopefully. Still aiming to be debt free by next Christmas. Hoping for Oct 15 but that will depend on things going relatively smoothly and the cars not costing us a fortune. Had some good news from work today, the charity that employs me have secured funding for my job for next year, so that's one less thing to worry about. Not sure what will happen after that but at least all the debts should be paid up by then, and I can re-think my job options if the worst happens.
Now because I am a numpty I messed up on my council tax last year and spent this year catching up. In 2015 I should be OK and get two months where I don't pay and intend to use this to bring down my Halifax CC bill. I am getting impatient now, just want to be debt free!
Not impatient - motivated !!:T:TDebt -it's a fight that I'm winning, dealing with debt one day at a time.

 just had the shock of my life! With all the chaos I haven't been checking account balances so I had a quick add up As I wave goodbye to Barclaycard and...drumroll please... I'm under 9k!! :j :j :j
Upon nosing through some paperwork I have also discovered that a share save scheme I'm locked into with work ends in May and...I hope you are sitting down...There will be enough to clear half of my remaining debt if I get no F&Fs! That with the usual SC payments of £130 per month will see my debt at 2,888 this time next year!
I've had a few dreams of being able to say I'll be debt free by the end of 2015 but after these calculations it actually looks possible! With a few more F&Fs and some belt tightening I could potentially do it...
Not bad for the girl who had the primary LBM in Oct 2013 and began a DMP in May 2014 that was scheduled to last TWENTY YEARS!!!!

Right signature is updated and I'm just under £7,000 paid (and £458 written off
) in 14 months! Thank you all for your support and encouragement, I'd have given up a long time ago without you all.
I just hope my experience can put aside anyone's worries of decades of DMP-ing situations really can change very fast and very unexpectedly but even if it had been 20 years for me at least I was doing it. Going to log into SC now and update my balances.
BC seem to have had quite a bashing on this thread lately, I too have months of AP markers but in 6 years they'll be all gone and I'll hopefully have a good nest egg saved.
I'm actually at work and can't leave until 3.30 despite the fact that I've done everything I can before Friday so I may as well do something constructive whilst everyone is out for lunch and then I'm going to be as annoying as possible until I'm told to s*d off home

That is fantastic progress Kate!
I have had two F&F responses. Lowell have offered a 20% discount on a small debt which I am accepting. Wescott have refused ANY F&F offers as apparently their client Three will no consider anything other then the full balance, whether or not it takes years to pay off.
