Because they (why do you assume HE?) have not replied agreeing to the change of terms therefore he has not agreed to the change of terms.0 -

I assume "HE" ... because I was responding to sedulous, who had assumed "HE".
And no answer does not mean "no", and it does not mean "yes". It means no answer.0 -

Agreeing to change the terms needs a reply from the seller in agreement, which hasn't happened. You can't change terms of a contract by omitting to reply to a request.
As the seller has already opened a case for non-payment, it is blindingly obvious he doesn't want the item to be collected, therefore there is no agreement to change the terms, therefore the original terms stand.0 -
really?
and you can be sure that they've even read your message?0 -
I'm beginning to wonder if OP is a troll, because they are not taking anything seriously.0

Well, they've signed into eBay to file a claim, so they've had opportunity to see the message. Regardless, if he hasn't seen the message that's just more evidence that the original terms still stand - how can he agree to something he hasn't seen!
Next time I go to Asda, I might just walk out with a trolley full of shopping and leave a post it on one of their bins promising that I'll pay next month as long as they phone me on my new premium 0845 number, seeing as you think it's OK to just request a change in terms after negotiating a contract wihout any regard for the seller.0 -

You've never sold anything, so your threat to block prowla was pretty menacing.
As must prowla I suggest....I answered your question...you refused to answer mine....strange?
Whether I've sold anything on my buyers ebay account is really totally irrelevant..the point is I unlike you and prowla I answered the question asked. Somewhat ironic to be honest.0 -

Can prowla be sure the seller read prowlas message?0 -
