Sorry corny title, blame Bon Jovi. The debts are my fault though, brought about by leaving ex, car problems, holidays.

Well nearly half way there. Promised myself a shiny new diary when I got somewhere near halfway point hopefully beginning July

Old Diary title Debt free by Oct 2016 10700/1075 days. As the title doesn't now make much sense update needed and trying to be debt free 18mths sooner than planned.

Briefy, Single female, own house( small mortgage 37K) car(paid for but like me getting on a bit) Grown up daughters, fled the nest. Have a dog and bunny rabbit to support. Not a great income so try to rent a room out to clear debts.

All my debt is on 0% interest free credit cards until next year now.

Now I will continue to ramble on as ever, but daily to stay focused.

Well today sold a dress on ebay 5.44 and bought some fruit and veg 5.49, plus 5.00 in from Halifax reward act. So I am winning ever so slightly.:T

Will see what else I can sell, as need cream paint for garden furniture my neighbour was about to throw out. Couple of wooden slats need replacing, can beg some through work - housebuilders. Just seen paint in Bevans half price but couldnt carry it. Will get it before offer passes.

Well bought garden furniture paint yesterday as wouldn't be there long at that price tenner huge tin. Painted one chair before the rain last night, will give it another coat this afternoon. Got spare cushions in the house, will hunt to see if I have any spare material to cover them - then bench and one chair at a fraction of cost of new one just 10.00 paint.

Friend asked me for lunch so nearly gave in but NO saving money for my few days mini break next week. Staying in and painting as off work this afternoon planned.

Garden furniture now looks awesome, replaced some of the slats and now a lovely off white colour, very seaside look to them. Only used 1/4 can of paint on 1 chair and 1 bench. Wondering if I should try the paint my old pine dressing table, know its outside paint but why not ? Just love the colour,

Well decided to pay off 36.00 off my sainsburys card today - that is the bal. tf fee and sometimes some companies charge interest on the fee.

This takes my balance to 6793.09 woo hoo. Amazing when you don't spend on your card, payments make a difference.:T

Lovely and sunny here, may treat myself to some wine to christen the garden furniture later.

One lodger leaves today readvertised on spare room, all about the money honey. Next year I get my house back to myself and hopefully spare cash when this debt nightmare is over.

Enjoy the weekend folks, I wil try not to spend but still enjoy life.:rotfl:

Need to find a new lodger soon to help me in my quest to be debt free. Paid off 8.77 today and sold a dress on Ebay 5.00 so will put that towards cc when paid.

Away a couple of nights this week. Just wondering how cheap I can do this mini break on, already paid for Premier inns, gig ticket, just food, drinks and fuel to think about. Beginning to wish I hadn't booked it really prefer money off my cards - how sad is that?
Tempted to pay for my car tax before I go away then I can't overspend.
