Another 43.14 off today. Thought throwing money at this may clear my head a bit.

However may have add to credit cards, need overnight stay Worcester funeral early one and fuel. However seeing as the joiner fitting my doors has gone walkabout could raid that money for now. Doors not going to be fitted until next week after me rushing painting everything in sight inc, dog and me.

Sun is shining, going to sit out in garden when I escape work.

Well driving there and back to funeral Monday. Not so much to save on costs but daughter not finishing work till 9pm Sunday night.

Roll on Tuesday, back to normality hopefully. Doors been fitted then as well, taking my dog to work as last time she escaped twice. Told my bosses its national Take your dog to work day lol. She's good and can just sit in my office.

Need to food shop Lidl on the way home. Not a big shop hopefully.

Chill out evening planned tonight, and escaping the cave tomorrow. Seem to spend too much time in my house/garden at the moment. Must get out more.

    Have a good weekend folks

Well had a lovely weekend, day out with boyfriend, yeah he's still about so things have improved. Think sometimes I can be bit hasty about relationships. Grandson birthday party Sunday was fun.

Yesterday relatives funeral shattered today journey took 3 1/2 hrs there and 4 hrs home. So after 7 1/2 hrs driving, plus all the emotions a funeral and meeting up with family does to you, worn out this morning. :(

Walked to work with dog to keep her out of joiners way at home, shes been good in office, rubbish at filing.:rotfl:

Going to get rested tonight, looked at few figures this morning, need to buy daughter bday pressie then will see if any spare cash to get the cards down.

Well had a day off work yesterday was productive varnished new internal doors which look wow, made such a difference to my house. Got the rest being fitted today. Need to pay joiner today but worth every penny.

Right now to the credit cards, had to spend on them this week fuel 62.00 (funeral trip not budgeted for)45.00 trainers old ones hurt and naughty but nice romper suit in sale which at 18.00 pay that much for just a top.

At least with new trainers walked to work twice this week so saving on fuel costs. Huge hill I live on so good work out walking home.

Been paying bits off and now happy to report now back down to what I owed well 11.35 less. Balance as at today 6567.35

Today just starting to open my eyes, been with the same firm for 12 yrs, no pay rise, no annual review for last 6yrs, dismissal holiday entitlement. I NEED A NEW JOB. Will start looking around and hoping.

No lodgers as yet, going to be hard to reduce my debts much this month.

Plans for the weekend, Saturday rest feel drained been a busy week, will need to varnish another 2 doors 2 coats each, before wet dog stains them and day out planned Sunday with lunch, Need a treat.

    Enjoy your weekend folks

Well varnished all my doors at the weekend and a lovely Sunday witb lunch out. Monday managed to pull my back out so spent last few days rolling around in pain. Went to a complementary therapist yesterday, painful but got more movement than I could do Monday. A cost of £35 not budgeted for. Still off work can't sit up for long periods, try tomorrow as off in afternoon anyway.

    No debt progress.

Well second day back in work, still in pain, had a really bad night, but back seems to be on the mend, phew hell on earth when you live alone.

Paid a vast amount off today 7.53 just to round credit card down. I can't make any payments this week as daughters 30th bday, plus having some more work done on my house, essential maintenance. Annoying as only need to pay another 40.32 and my debt is then half way point. Frustrating to say the least.

Going to be a lonely weekend, both daughters away on holiday till Monday, boyfriend got his daughter, best friends away. May have to rest for a change and just enjoy the weather.
Can't shop job to walk let alone carry stuff so should save some money that way. Got essential supplies cider and wine in so happy to sit in garden.
    Have a great weekend folks

    Hi Calling14.

I'm glad you got your doors varnished last weekend.
Sorry to hear about your back, I hope it doesn't give you too much grief.

Well done on the payment front, almost half way :)

    Have a great weekend

Thanks Southern Guy my back hasn't been to bad today, managed to clean house and cut grass. Cutting grass was painfull but the most worst thing is brushing up. 80yr old who lives over the road offered to help bless.

Lovely having a Saturday to myself, found cider and my sunlounger then fell asleep. Heaven.

No spending today, except for a small dog walk stayed around house. Rain here tonight so a night off garden watering yeah.

Well 1st August is here, glad awful July is over. Found it hard to focus of anything with bereavement, bad back, glut of birthdays.
Done monthly shop, freezer and food cupboards stocked up and got petrol hopefully to last the month.

No debt reduction to report, bank account very low until get paid next week.

Cheap weekend planned pictures tomorrow all a quid. Kids cineworld book on line as weather looks dire. Sunday looks better day so get out and about then, picnic?

Need to get old doors to the tip not sure exactly how, probably fit in car roped in. Try that Sunday when I have boyfriend down, not risking my back for anything.

Have to sort a lodger out shortly, few interested no one who really appeals to me though. Hard sharing home with someone not over comfortable with to reach my debt free day, need to get one installed by Sept.

Have a great weekend folks still warm here.
