Thanks t2rry. I haven't got any back up funds so probably bit silly but it stops me spending it. Keep going your doing well takes time but it will be worth it in the end. When's your wedding?
It's all about not spending it! Long way to go here and so much in the meantime slowing debt free efforts down, including the wedding - in December- can't complain too much it's all good things just wish it was all good things and debt free!!

Productive day Saturday, bedroom looking so much more modern, with dressing table painted, really solid wood and will never fall to bits so worth effort. Bought a few accessories and a new mirror. Going to paint skirting boards next and decided new carpet in order, as there doesn't seem any underlay under this one. Filled two charity bags for collection tomorrow.
Still haven't done a tip run, bit nervous of taking doors to tip in this wind. Need a hand to help get them in car as well.
Today some housework dog walks, country fair with my girls and grandson fun times. Had a really good laugh. Legs ache, early night needed.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Hey calling.
Was noseying through diaries and came across yours and it caught my eye. I saw "Thin Lizzy" at the festival I go to in June. Now called the Black Star Riders I believe but it was basically just a Thin Lizzy set (from what I can remember).
I agree with t2rry. I am also scared to pay off little bits here and there in case I end up short.
I think it is amazing how well you are doing and I wish you well for the second half of your journey.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Thanks Stewby, second half of the journey is going at a slower pace though unless a lodger appears.
Black Star Riders their new material sounds so much like Thin Lizzy, sure they are playing a holiday camp around here, later in the year.
This weekend have spent small amounts and enjoyed myself more. Can get too caught up in debt free life and stay in all the time.
Car insurance due in a few weeks so will have to keep pennies for that.
Should have taken doors to tip one pane of glass broke last night, all over my drive. Carrying the confused dog over the glass this am.

Finally doors taken to tip sawed them in half so easy and fitted in the car.
Been off work few days holidays. Went to Sainsburys and did clothes shop 25% off everything had not to. Wasn't budgeted for but stocked up with leggings, jeggings, dressing gown, the shirts, cardigan sock knickers plus used my nectar points so paid out £45.25 cash. Will budget for their sale next time.
No more shopping now promise.
Bit gutted been off work and had a bad tummy all the time. Will go to Drs this week as I have had this before, symptoms are similar to IBS so today decided to eat little and often, keep food diary, cut down tea coffee. Would explain why I feel so tired.
Will post my credit card balances tomorrow, easier to do on my work computer than tablet.

Well been to Drs this morning, now lots of tests planned but feel bit more relaxed as something is being done. Plus got some medicine to ease symptoms now phew.
Well paid off another 100 pounds so slow this month but hey ho at least its going in the right direction.
Off this afternoon, hopefully walk the dog, bit housework and see younger daughter.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Getting ready for September going to work out budgets tonight. Still struggling with a bad tummy so been more or less grounded this weekend fed up can't plan anything, at least my freezer is still fairly full.

Well September is here. Finally after 2 weeks my tummy seems to be improving such a relief. Still feel light headed so taking it easy today sssh don't tell my boss.
Today checked all my credit card balances, changed from a minimum payment with one to a set amount each month. Intentions are there just not the money lol. Chased Quidco for items marked delayed payment, good news 14.14 hitting my account next 5 days. Got a cheaper car insurance quote now 35 pounds cheaper woo hoo still looking see if I can better it by end of the weekLBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Well Car insurance done okay 35 only cheaper but all helps. So no payments off my credit card.
Spoke to soon about tummy struggling along, but its awful 3/4th week now. Had another blood test today. Another grounded weekend which the way I feel I welcome.
Today I have been offered my house painted at a cheap price so good can't refuse but now will have to find the cash by next week. Proper tradesman done few jobs for me and housebuilders I work for in the past. He's working nearby so start tomorrow. Render is peeling off and I can't reach some areas. Plus if I ever want to sell its in a good state of repair.
Bit lack lustre at moment, so fed up with upset tummy all the time. Back to Drs again next week, hate not being able to be active.
Fully intended not to whinge once in this diary in September but thats all gone pear shaped.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220 -
Well lost 10lbs in weight thanks to IBS hopefully it is settling down now.
Debts having a disaster month, well had the house painted, looks good enough to eat now and whilst the lads were here had two ceilings sorted out in my house, were awful tried myself but stains weren't covering, plus one had cracks in it.
Also going down the carpet route, as since moved in horrid smell in my front bedroom not overpowering but sure it is the old carpet and the underlay which has turned to dust. Will order them through work as should get them bit cheaper then, plus work owes me 500 pounds which could come off total.
Yesterday paid off the wrong credit card, okay was worn out and not concentrating so now paid the right one which leaves me with all of 3 pounds in my bank until Thursday. Haha maybe staying in this weekend?!
Yesterday also had bad news behind with my electric/gas bill so now monthly payments go from 39.00 to 90.00 a mth for the next year. Should have increased my payments earlier this year but had so much going on forgot to. Can swop suppliers end Oct but need to pay os amount 191.00 first.
My total debt has now increased to 6647.57 unfortunately with other house projects. Slapped wrists and naughty step but will be happier once the house is not upside down think that is not helping my stress levels.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/220
