MET parking charge?!?

Hi all. New to here so firstly hello hope you're well.

Been reading up on met parking charge notice where we over stayed by 19 mins due to eating there walking off and coming back and eating again. Something also about new legislation etc

Now some are saying ignore them they'll go away and some are saying appeal to them kind of thing.

Just wondered who has experience of them and if I am better just paying it or go the ignore route. My fault I know but. £50 for over stay of 19 minutes!!

Thanks in advance all

Neither. Appeal it, firstly to MET themselves using the first appeal template contained in the Newbie sticky thread.

I and dozens of others have beaten MET parking at POPLA and cost them money in the process .... It's very easy!

This forum has a 100% success rate at POPLA so sleep easy.

Brilliant. I'll get on the them templates then and see what happens. £50 is not acceptable in my eyes for a 19 minute over stay. It's not parking in Chelsea!!

To be fair it wouldn't even acceptable even if you were parking in the grounds of Buckingham Palace (although I suspect you might get done for trespass if you did! )
