What shoes do you already have?
Shoe zone, asda, Tesco and the likes sell nice fancy sandals/shoes. Even lovely ballet pumps with diamontes etc that you could wear again all <£10.
It will be dark -ish and after dancing you`ll no doubt end up in bare feet

Yup. I can't wear heels, flats (ballet pumps are out), orthotics fall out of sandals and bare feet is just about the most painful state to be in.
The outfit is yellow and white - the nicest shoes I've got is a pair of black DMs. They came with yellow laces.......:o:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
Ooo, poor you, that must be very difficult to find anything suitable and comfortable. Could you wear a shoe with a low wedge or platform? Would they need to be wide fitting?Over futile odds

I got married in DMs
I had a blue/pupley satiny mini dress from Top Shop (bought the day of the wedding!)
Don't worry, be yourself, *I* think DMs go with everything...0 -
I wouldnt give a gift either, if it was a former colleague I'd chip in a couple of quid with other old workmates and then they get vouchers or whatever from the list.Unless it was someone I'd got on really well with and then hopefully I would consider them a friend really. Then thats different.
In fact I would probably not go unless I was really looking forward to the evening.0 -

I'm from the "black goes with everything" school of thought - which means nothing goes with my sodding outfit now!
I refuse to wear black to a wedding.
It's usually a fight to find black shoes as a lot of wide fitting shoes come in the most appalling "LOOK AT ME!! I'M ORTHOPEDIC!!" colours.
That and velcro.:huh: Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
