Hi popeye2755,

We are concerned you may have been given an expired code.

Please could you confirm what deadline date the POPLA checker gave you?

Is the 27th June the day the code was generated or the deadline?

Old Trev scores yet another own goal. According to the urban dictionary Expedion means "A complete lying buffoon" as in :- "don't be an expedion, I know you stole my stuff"
What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?

According to the POPLA code checker, the expiry date is Fri Jul 25 2014.

Interesting links 4CR. I've been [STRIKE]laughing at[/STRIKE] (ahem) studying Trev's GPEOL breakdown and just noticed this:

http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/merged_document-41.pdf

It's clear he's been using one of his 'mathematical algorithms' (remember, capable of detecting shoplifters, terrorists and illegal immigrants) to calculate 20% of £32. Trev's answer = £4.80. :rotfl: Maybe a slight amendment to your computer code is required Trev to correct this - otherwise those shoplifters could be getting away scot-free. :)

Anyway, back to my studies!!

Edit:

Also just waded through the costs of his 'Ink and Stationary (sic)'. Clearly a cost for standing still at the printer.

Notwithstanding the very serious issue you raise about the statement regarding the 'in-house legal department', the rest of this is pretty facile.

GPEOL-in-a-Box, possibly marketable to other, like-minded PPCs. :rotfl:
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Your website is seriously flaky lately 4CR, most of the time it is either dog slow or not there at all.

@ Bazster - I have deleted the post with links to our web blogs for the moment as we are experiencing technical difficulties with the web hosting of our site today. LCN are aware and their engineers are working to resolve the issue.

The links will be back up when the issue has been resolved.

So now back to normal working order - reposting earlier info:

@Popeye2755 please make sure you do your POPLA appeal in plenty of time then and complain to BPA and DVLA.

The antics of ANPR are very well known on forum and also with our company see blogs:

We have emailed Steve Clark at BPA and also sent invitations to ANPR and Trev for a right of reply - todate he has not.

Just received a letter from a debt collection agency threatening court action if I don't pay within 14 days. Considering I've only just received the POPLA code from ANPR and haven't submitted my appeal yet, does this breach BPA guidelines?
As you have got 3 weeks to do the POPLA appeal, take some time tomorrow to perfect a complaint email to the DVLA and the BPA Ltd. ANPR Ltd must be in the last chance saloon surely, by now!

Send an email to steve.c@britishparking.co.uk and Elizabeth.symons@dvla.gsi.gov.uk saying:

- ANPR Ltd have sent a debt collector letter despite knowing you have a current POPLA code which they only just sent.
- That debt collector uses a name very similar to Experian which is misleading.
- That debt collector threatens to litigate - a debt collector cannot litigate nor pursue an alleged debt which does not exist and has no credit agreement in default.
- That debt collector is not a member of any regulatory body.
- That debt collector may not even have a CCA licence as they are a new name.
- That debt collector appears to have employees in common with National Clamps/ANPR Ltd.
- This is no better than the same trick ANPR Ltd used to pull with 'H&S Litigation'.
- How exactly is an 'in-house' letter threatening court, purporting to be from a firm who can litigate when they cannot, any different from the Wonga debacle?
