Not sure, so I'm gonna wait till the 30th and see what they take out my bank. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Is it not because you spoke to your bank to recall the money? They may have also cancelled the Direct Debit?0

Go into your local EE store as soon as possible. Get them to bring up your account and supply you with the T&C's and pricing.
75p for a kilobyte of data is ridiculously high. It appears that their systems cannot work out the difference between kb/mb and gb. There is obviously something going seriously wrong here.
The £1 a day thing isn't a myth, here's EE's actual terms
Data options
You’ll need internet coverage to use internet on your phone, check it at ee.co.uk/coverage If you’re on a unlimited data plan, you’ll get unlimited use of our internet on your
phone service when you’re in the UK. This means no fair use policy will apply. If you use up all your data allowance before the end of the month, you’ll be charged a simple and
straightforward £1 a day for the data you use until your next bill date. Additional data is subject to a monthly 2.5GB fair usage policy, but if you don’t use any data within a day, you
won’t be charged.
You can check how much data you’re using on the My T-Mobile app, and if you keep going over your monthly allowance, it’s easy to move to a new monthly plan with a higher
allowance. Just speak to customer services by dialling 150 from your phone.
For further information on chargeable boosters and the legal stuff, please see “non standard what it costs”. “Non standard what it costs” also includes the prices and legal stuff for all
our other additional services, like using your phone abroad and calls to premium rate numbers.
You can find all the info of charges from http://ee.co.uk/content/dam/ee-help/e-gain.s3.amazonaws.com/external/content/T-Mobile/Price-plans-and-cost/May%202014%20updates/EE81011424_TM_PAYM_24m_280514.pdf0 -

As soon as your contract is up, port out and go PAYG. Contracts are not worth all that stress...0

I agree. Wouldn't take a contract again. I did have pay monthly with Virgin after my contracts but I'm not a fan of that either as I did get a bill of £28 for going over text allowance and no warning. With PAYG I know I can never spend more than the monthly payment. Can't think why I'd ever go back to a contract now as I couldn't take the worry I read about on here. It seems to be a bad industry and top offender for mucking up your credit status.
I'm now with giffgaff but of course you then have the price hikes to deal with but in general PAYG suits me.0 -
I had similar problems with T mobile back in March/April, My mobile dongle usually cost £10 for 3gb per month. However my Mar bill was........£6684.12!!!!
Needless to say I challenged it, and after a very very stressful 2 months, got a revised bill of £0.00
Not even an apology!
These mistakes seem to occurring on a regular basis, but their Customer Services always insist the bill is correct when you finally get to speak to them!
Check your Credit report with either Experian or free with Noddle, as I had a default on my account whilst this was gpong on. Though thankfully it has now been removed.0
