Recently I logged onto my my t-mobile account and to my horror it said I owe them nearly £1000 for my April bill  I'm on the £21 a month plan and haven't had any problems until this. I don't understand how this has happened cos I connect to my wifi at home most of the time and I only mainly call my sister who is on t-mobile and I have the unlimited t-mobile booster. I don't text hardly anyone so I'm confused and upset cos noway in this world can I pay this bill.
I have enclosed print screens of my bill so if anyone can help me understand it I would be really grateful.

Did you phone them and ask??What happens if you push this button?0 -
That does seem odd. 116MB for £743 = £6405 per gigabyte. EE current cost per GB pay as you go is £10 and you used a 10th of that! I would give them a call.0

I'm on a monthly contract with them and bill is always £21 a month. I have phoned them and they said they are looking into it and will get back to me. I have also looked at this months bill (may) and to my horror they have charged me £192 of which £140 is outside my allowance :eek:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It has to be a mistake unless you used the data outside of Europe somewhere0

I haven't been out of the UK for years. This has to be a mistake, they have actually taken the £192 from my bank today. I rang the bank and they recalled it, but what is baffling me the most is they only took £21 out in April but I have a £900+ billtotally confused!

Could be the data plan has somehow dropped off you're acc. The billing computer would then apply some stupid default value and spit out the bill.
Get them to check what's on you acc screen...0 -

Back in April I changed my mobile number as I was getting nuisance calls but I was still on the same plan with t-mobile could this be where the confusion is coming from? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
A number change shouldn't affect anything apart from the number
But you never know with these huge systems.
I'd give them a call and just check that you have some kind of data elements on there. I know if there's nothing there the system will generate a big bill.0 -
You've not been on a ferry by any chance, have you?0
