I used to do 12 hour shifts, but not since 2006 now.For ages I loved doing them, and then started not sleeping well on nights (2-3 hours at a time) and it became a nightmare.Do you do nights too?How horror-fied (get it?!) would you all be to hear I've never seen the rocky horror show?! I thought the time warp was just a crap song the crap djs played at crap school discos, like the Macarena but older!!
Nabbed NSD #11 todayand still full of champagne

Sorry have been MIA, I didn't have time to meal plan or shop at the weekend so have been in and out of the local co-op this week. Not good for my NSDs and also by the time I've finished work, picked up DD from after school club, argued about what to eat, gone shopping and found there's none in co-op, argued again, bought expensive stuff, gone home then cooked and cleared up I'm exhausted. A very good case for meal planning. We are out again tonight and both DD and DH are cooking.
We were supposed to be out last night but I cancelled. I can't have another exhausting weekend as enjoyable though it is, it affects the rest of the week financially ( and last night would have been a big expense and I'd overspent so it was a good mover).
Ooh just realised yesterday was an NSD as I had lunch bought for me. Yayy
Can you put me down for 5 please marmite and thanks for all your adding and encouraging posts. I am going to set target lower next month.
Just as long as you don't use the naughty word beginning with 'f'!0 -
marmiteYes I occasionally do nights but not often as it upsets my circadian rhythm and IBS.
Carry on, Igor, still plenty of washing up to go.....

I will definitely be back later today with a nice, big update, but need to do some gardening first, which I've been putting off for a few days.
A bit of gardening...five hours later, everything that had to be done, was done.Mind you, being out there during the hottest time of the day,I'd become a sweaty blur,so a quick shower later and I raced off to the swimming pool,to have a lovely swim...bathed in cool water, lovely, lovely, lovely.:D
All this exertion though meant that I practically crawled home,so,no update.:o0 -

Nargleblast wrote: »I don't believe it. I do NOT believe it. We were leading 27-0 at half time. Igor, tell me what was the final score again......I though so. 146-27. One hundred and forty six goals......to the other team! We got freaking slaughtered!!!!! Why????? We were doing so well......I thought, I honestly thought, a couple or six bottles of champagne and that crate of elderflower goo would see us through and bury the other team completely.
There was Igor, jiving in his basque and suspenders with Hubert, who should have been paying attention in the goal......kerri, showing off her pole dancing to that stock market chappie on the other team...honestly, she was up and down that pole like a tart's drawers......and where did that music come from? Oh, yes, Igor only went and hired the Good Ole Boys band after all, despite what happened last year.....cw was swigging away from a flagon of elderflower stuff, singing the St Trinian's theme song.......And Knitwitch obviously didn't bribe Snape and Greenleaf properly because all the ruddy Stonehenge tourists swiped our grub and totally yaffled it. Which only leaves Igor's festering goulash......and why were the rest of the team doing the Time Warp instead of stopping the other side from scoring? Not to mention the incident with the pink furry handcuffs.....we will have to have another whipround to bail ShirePiskie out of the local nick.........
Oh, the shame, the shame.......
Ye gods, how did this happen? They all ate big portions of Igor's spicy gerbil curry, and they still won. They must have cast-iron innards!:eek:Nargleblast wrote: »Ok everyone, line up behind Knitwitchfor a conga into the Tardis! Here we go....everybody con-gah! Come on and do the timewarp.......
All right, Igor, leave the goulash behind, it will kill the weeds...
Aye Yay Conga!
I love doing the conga.:DDid we win......Hic......hic
See above!:(
Now we know how the England team feels.0
