Evening all! Home from long day at work and am now in bed catching up with the news after watching our national team get slaughtered. When will we ever learn, we just don't do football the way other countries do, i.e. by winning?

Number 7NSDis now checked in. Ye gods but I'm boogered. And it's work again tomorrow. Thank goodness I have six days off afterwards.

Right, Igor, have you got charcoal for the barbecue? And enough food sorted? Do you need a hand with anything? No?
Well, in that case, get in goal, Hubert has been hurt. Yes, someone stamped mud all over his stilettos and he's now in a mega sulk and refusing to play on Saturday.

And Knitwitch.....have you finished knitting the team scarves yet? marmite, did you manage to sort out the musical entertainment? Hopefully it will be an improvement on previous years, when Igor hired the Good Ole Boys not realising they also were a drag act! Hubert has never been the same since!

Look at all of you lot approaching or reaching target whilst I've only just got half way! I am consoling myself with the story of the hare and the tortoise! :)

I don't do this myself, but often think about doing it:when declaring your target, start off with a smaller number,ie 5 or 10,and then when you reach that, you get a lovely prize. Then post for a higher target ie 12 or 15 etc.A target of 20 is pretty steep, lets face it.:)
Breaking it down like that makes it that bit easier, and you're more likely to reach target!

Six days off sounds good.Do you work 12 hour shifts by any chance?

How does everyone feel about karaoke?

Hubert is a big fan of Dolly Parton/Elvis Presley/Madonna (the Vogue phase) and has some super rhinestone jumpsuits that he's dying to wear.:D

I do have some emergency pink high-heeled wellies he could wear...Yes,that's right,high-heeled wellies.I didn't know that they existed either...:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Igor was muttering something about Rocky Horror.....:eek:

Yep all scarves done in the same stripes as the information blocks at the top of the MSE Pages (and for Hubert I knitted Gold Lame in with each colour, I hope this helps the mega sulk!)
