Thanks Mrs M-P I get what you're saying.:o If it doesn't go away today, I'll get Mr LW to divert to the GP surgery tomorrow morning on our way into town (got to pick up our € for our holiday). I suspect the chances of getting to see a Dr this side of our holiday are zero, however. I imagine I've gogged it on something, but I simply can't remember doing so.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

Can't believe how chilly it is here at the moment - WM just finished and I can't decide if it's worth putting it out on the line or not ....
Wendy - firstly, congrats on DD1 getting a job :T
My parents worked on the idea of 1/3 rent, 1/3 to save and 1/3 to spend. My 1/3 I paid them also included food and bills but I paid for everything else. I think it has to depend also on how much she is earning and what her essential outgoings are (travel to work; work clothes, etc.).
Anyone want to join me in a

Good luck pigpen
I've just hung the wet laundry up and put some bedding in. Sleeping bags are in the loft, I have lost my bite cream and I have bites on my ankles from campingI thought it was with the holiday stuff in the loft, but not. Loads of clothes put away, lunch made, general tidying upstairs and now having a cuppa and a banana.
Then I will do my nails!
Before I collect the littlies I have more clothes in DR to sort and start an ironing pile for the weekendand some tidying of camping stuff to do in the garage. Think I will collect them at about 4.30 so they can have snack at club and I'll be able to get on with tea without them begging like little doggies
Hope your head feels better, LW xBossymoo

Wendy - it is such a personal thing, do what sits right with you. Are you doing it because you 'need the money', are teaching her to 'pay her way in the world', that 'life's expensive' - this may help with your decision. Is it her first job? What will she get for her money? ie will she be responsible for her phone bill, clothes, toiletries, lunches etc this could affect how much you feel happy to ask for. I could tell you what I do but that will not necessarily help.
It is her first job but she's been there a while. It is a case of needing her to pay as I'm only on ESA. She already pays her own mobile bill, that started when she was working just 3 days. Everything else I do, if she wants anything special toiletry wise, perfumes, hair dye etc she will do, if it can go in the shopping trolley e.g the basics, shower gel, shampoo, sanitary products it'll go in with the food shopping, if you get what I mean.0 -
Sorry for posting my list again. Trying to see whats left to do. DD is still in her room. She's having a good sort out and has just added some perfumes etc she doesn't like any more to the donate pile
Its just taken me 40mins to dust the livingroom!
Dropping washing the windows this week. Workmen in over the road are kicking up the muck in the front, and in the back is buzzing (pun intended:p) with bees feasting on neighbours sycamore tree so we get dive bombed every time we go outside and I daren't open the windows!! Some of those bees are massive and keep flying into the windows making a thumping sound, and leaving big forehead prints for want of a better phrase :rotfl:
ETA: Also loosing the HHI's as I'll do them tomorrow while DD is out once I've finished the sewing
