Skinty, time has flown since our picnic in the park. Please be kind to yourself while you're still adapting to the new meds *and* trying to hold everything and everyone together - it will be better next week when DD1 and DD2 are home to help. Sounds like DD3 is turning into a domestic goddess :rotfl: PM me if you need a chat: I'll always phone you back. Have got Skype but have never used it
(((Hugs))), spoons and sticks where needed. Hope everyone has a good day x
Thank you Ionafan, DD3 is being very supportive atm, more carrot and less stick is meaning the house isn't quite falling into a filth pit in need of K!m and @ggie......and by carrot, DD3 is getting 'Puter time. The cold never bothered me anyway0 -
*stamps foot* I HATE having f*£&ing Lupus! Just lost another day to the mother of all headaches.:( Made worse by the fact that Mr LW came home from work at lunchtime feeling poorly - his boss told him to come home, so it must've been bad
(he's ok now, though, thankfully); and Ted was collected at 16:30, so I had to drag my sorry a$$ off the sofa to pack his bag up and hand him over.
Only thing of any real use I've done today is order our Euros. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
 just been getting acquainted with the nit comb
Poor DS. Can't find a thing on DD but he had a heap of small ones, a few big enough to see easily and there are some eggs too.
My head is banging. I've done his hair 3 times, he's now smelling rather like tea tree, and his hair is crispy with all the conditioner, lol but has been a little star sitting still for me. I've done mine and DDs twice and the hairdresser checked us too.
I'll do us all again in the morning and we'll pop to the chemist whilst we are out.
Gah. I've even had to tell my mum as DS was having piggy backs from her foster boy so she will have to check him. Can't imagine how DD and I don't have them, we've been sharing an air bed while camping... Still I'll keep treating us al...Bossymoo

At paid work ATM but not much flying done today apart from dailies.
Got stuck in kitchen earlier as bought 3 kg YS runner beans yesterday and had to prep/blanch/freeze in portions and it took a-g-e-s. Also had 2nd half of HM onion soup to be turned into Italian tomato soup - still to be portioned and frozen. We had main meal lunchtime as well and did WUDUPA before came to work
Hope all still reasonably tidy when I get back home from work.
Will check in later - awful weather here as it's cold and wet

Oh Fizz. We have had them twice in the last few months. Nightmare. And DS is at the age where he spends ages doing his hair so he doesnt want loads of conditioner making it all soft!
Soo, took the afternoon off and went shopping. Found DS some jeans he likes - result!
Changed our duvet cover, tidied and dustied the bedroom and emptied a bag of rubbish out of my fitted cupboard. Ooh and found a full bottle of hair stuff that I didnt know I had.
Kitchen is a bit of a bomb site so off to tidy that in a minute. Just watching a bit of telly first. Dark, rainy and yuk outside, like winter.0 -

Not sure DS suits a ponytailespecially since he's just had it all done with blade 2 clippers
DD usually has a braid across the front to keep it out of her eyes then piggytails - and a warning not to pull her "bobblies" outYORKSHIRELASS wrote: »Oh Fizz. I've left the conditioner on, it's all crispy lol he spiked it all up. He is only 5 and has no interest in appearance (thankfully) he is just a noise with dirt on :rotfl:
Finally unpacked car, WM x 2 (towels going in a hot wash tomorrow, and DS bedding ) but that's about it for me tonight. Yawn.

im afraid its an occupational hazard of having sociable school age children bossy. some children seem to be magnets to them while others dont seem to attract them 2 of my 5 got to know the comb well. i found that conditioner and wet combing every 3 days was more effective than chemicals. even now DS2 will sometimes say 'can you check my hair mum' i havent found anything since he left primary school but im happy to keep checking just in case.
one of the teachers swore by tea tree conditioner she said it kept them at bay
