I'm another one who tries not to see this list/fred as a challenge. I see it as having some company while I'm doing what has to be done. I hate to think I'm the only one in the whole world doing any housework!

Me too, although sometimes when I am about to sit down I think of the other flyladies doing their stuff and it encourages me to do a bit more.

Soo, just finished the paid stuff (with a visit to the hairdresser in between jobs). Keeping an eye on DS1 who has been very lonely and unhappy today as DS2 was out with friends and he has no-one to be with. Promised him a trip out somewhere tomorrow afternoon.

Have tidied the living room and half heartedly flicked the duster round. OH watching a film in there now so he is not going to appreciate me hoovering and I am bu@@ered now anyway. Will catch up tomorrow.

    Well done pigpen, great achievement!
  • Yes - well done Pigpen - I am going to take a leaf out of your book tomorrow am - and that's a promise.

Didn't get half of my list done but flapjack made and delivered - without being tested!!! Mr t order put away - fridge tidied - more ironing done and all put away.
DH made dinner and washed up too.
Wardrobes tidied so i have somewhere to hang ironed hol clothes.
    Handbag tidied.
Bag for CS - maybe more tomorrow.

    Sleep well everyone x

    managed to get to town.

Took a pair of ankle boots in for heeling and soling (to collect fri)
Been to savers for bargains (I love that shop - half the price of the supermarket for branded goods)
Took 7 bags of change to bank. Cashier let me off having 2 more than they normally accept in one go because it was quiet (and I was polite). Obviously totally innocent look on face worked ;)
Offered to buy son (20) sweeties for journey. He selected a £1.00 bag. I therefore extorted 50p from him for said sweeties because I hadn't planned on paying £1. Son is visiting GF at Uni and has gone by bus.
Been to card factory and bought ALL the cards I need for this month (June) 5 birthdays; fathers day and a sympathy card for friend and hubby as huibby's father has passed (92) plus pack of thankyou cards in case I get anything I need to be thankful for (last Xmas I couldn't find the ones I like so I buy a pack when I see them, now) Spent £8.40 so not bad, I suppose.
Got credit on phone with Boots gift card bought from Morries because then I get 1p a litre off petrol!

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all

I don't seem to have gotten much achieved again today myself. I spent the morning dealing with email and surveys I haven't done in over a week :o Did some more clearing up on DDs shoes but it was driving me crazy so I stopped, 3 loads of laundry washed & dried. Then this afternoon I've helped DD make some bread, but its not looking very successful. :( Think we need to stick to no knead versions first so we're trying a no knead recipe which involves it rising over night. I don't think DD has bread bakers hands, whereas I seem to :rotfl:

DD also spent an hour in her room sorting out 3 of her 5 dresser drawers :D She's half filled a carrier bag and has said she'll get on with the rest tomorrow :D

    Personal:
    Labels in uniform
    Belt loops on trousers
Sewing repairs (School bag, quilt cover, my small bag)
DD shoes - made a start and its going to take longer than I thought!
    Shredding
Work (paperwork) Thur - order in
Clean bins out - Next week when the recycling bin is emptied as well, but only if all the builders from over the road haven't parked in front of my house again. :rotfl:
Print calender for rest of the year
Sort DD's clothes / drawers / box pile  - DD done 3 drawers 5 to go (including desk) then onto hanging clothes & then boxes.
Bake (rolls, cake, twinks) - work in progress
Understairs cupboard /dig out DIY supplies
Sort out shopping list for DIY shop so I can start the decorating!

Well done Piggers - amazing progress by the sounds of things.

Valli - well done for being so organised

I have filed half my paperwork. I'll crack right on with it tomorrow morning, too tired now. Just going to finish off down here and head up to read in bed.

Working out quite well changing to having main meal lunchtime instead of evening so far. Seems to get a lot of work out of the way earlier in the day, like cooking and clearing kitchen, and makes me generally scurry a bit quicker in the mornings :rotfl:

Hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday
