Does anyone else in the office have their lunches tampered with? Have you spoke to your colleagues, and if so, what was their reactions?
I think the lockable cash box is a cute way to carry your lunch - it would look pretty cool and completely different - start a new trend! (hopefully the keys aren't interchangeable with others though!)
As far as I know it's only my lunch that keeps going missing.
I was talking to a male friend of mine yesterday evening about this whole situation and he brought my attention to something which never even crossed my mind. He said if the person was so brazen as to take the meat out of my tupperware then what makes me think they won't put something in my food.
Now he's not saying that they have or they will but if some of my food goes missing it's best I throw the rest away. It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun0 -
Would your manager be able to help, OP? If he or she is someone with good people skills they might be able to get to the bottom of who is stealing your lunch, or be able to advise you on what to do.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. 1. This isn't what is happening. The OP's food is being repeatedly stolen.
2. Who would do that? I would never take food that wasn't mine unless it was offered to me.
1. Yes the OP's food is being stolen, but my point is that even if you think it is reasonable to trap the thief with bad food (which I don't), if the contaminated food is in the office it is possible that an innocent person might end up eating it.
2. You wouldn't do it, but could you be 100% certain that nobody around you would ever do it?0 -

I was thinking along those lines too - not that the theif was putting something in there, but I wouldn't really want to eat something that some unknown person has had their hands in.0 -
And certain kinds of laxatives can cause serious harm to people suffering from common health complaints which you may not know about, such as diabetes, kidney problems, crohns and even pregnancy
You'd think people in those categories would be too careful of what they eat to steal someone else's food in the first placeAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

Can't say I've ever been tempted to pick someone's lunch leftovers off their desk and eat them!0 -

If someone is eating food that is not theirs, they are not innocent.0 -

Just start bringing in two lunches one with rubbish leftovers etc. and another in a completely new different container but make sure no one sees that it is yours.0

Not that I'd ever advocate going down the laxative route but if you were to, This might be a good bet. (Read the reviews).
Thief eats the scrummy gummy bears. Thief gets punished. You say innocently that you had no idea they had a laxative effect.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
