I don't know why someone has taken a shine to my lunch at work but it's p*!ing me off.
Since early last week I noticed that my food started going missing and I'm not just talking about some fruit I'm talking about someone going into my tupperware and taking out the meat. At first I thought someone took it by mistake as there's another tupperware box exactly the same as mine.
Salmon missing from my salad
Chicken thigh missing from my salad
Fresh tuna steak missing from my salad
Half of my beef sandwich
1 whole yogurt pot missing a full 450g tub
1 whole tub of Lurpak butter missing (I didn't even get to open the seal)
Some people are just brazen. Going forward I'm going to leave my lunch in the car.

It's better to regret something I did do than to regret something that I didn’t. :EasterBun

Look at this as an opportunity to get back at the thief.
A long time ago my friend was bullied at school. The bully took his choc bar from his lunch box every day.
So one day he coated rabbit droppings in chocolate and put them in a choc raisin bag. The bully took them and ate them.
So he told everyone that the bully ate rabbit poo and it stopped. 30 years later at the school re-union. The same man asked him whether the rabbit poo story was really true! Smiling he said it was.
May I suggest that you make up a lunch of undesirable food for the thief? Don't poison them as that is criminal, but something unpleasant perhaps?NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
when my mate found out her husband was cheating, she made him loads of food using dog food.............looks so much like stewed steak.
Make a salad and in the middle put a nice tin of chicken dog food, the best one not the cheap one.......that'll soon teach them.

Could you just have it in a cool bag with an ice block in the bottom and keep it next to your desk with your handbag or in a locker? Does it have to go in a communal fridge?Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0 -

This ^^^^
I certainly wouldn't be keeping it in my car, especially on hot days.
I would however be tempted to have a little bit of fun at the thiefs expense!
Put something disgusting in sandwiches/lunchbox, breeze into the office saying "anyone any idea who's stolen my "insert horrible food here" sandwiches? Then watch the culprit turn green!0 -
We have this problem at work too, some people are very brazen, or very hungry, lol!
I just keep my lunch in my bag to be honest, our office tends to be on the cool side anyway so nothing ever goes off.
I like Jenand8285's suggestion of putting laxatives in the lunch though!0 -

I read a story about a lady that made brownies laced with laxatives as her child had a problem similar to the OP
As mean as it sounds, I have been waiting for the day that I have the opportunity to do something similar
Not that I would ever want my kids bullied, but if this happens, you know whats coming0 -
We had a boss who would steal our sweets from our desk. We bought some sweets from the joke shop & he came in the office with a bright blue mouth! Maybe you could find something similar to add to your lunch that would name, shame & stop the thief doing it again!0
