Another day at the nuthouse :( must remember to get a lottery ticket today

If you guys hit the big one on the lottery, would you still be as MSE as you are now? I think I would as I like the thrill of the chase :D

Hells yeah! I would just get a slightly better car to chase glitches in :D

I also second this church. Unusual places I can recommend are Puzzlewood Forest, Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle and the stunning Symonds Yat (off of a dodgy steep single track, 2 way road, but worth it!). If you like caves, Clearwell caves are about 2 minutes away from Puzzlewood. Regarding shops, Monmouth is your best bet. If you feel the itch for a glitch, Chepstow has a decent Ts :rotfl: Hope that helps.

Have fun! Good morning all :)

    That's my T's  :j
Great suggestions. Loving the sound of Puzzlewood. I know that all the castles in the area are already on the list. Particularly any 'undiscovered' motte and baileys that my partner can find indicated on an old map! I probably won't be able to resist a quick shop at T either. Does anyone know if the M&S nearby is any good for spending green redeem vouchers? - ie. does it have self scan? Thanks again for your help.

Ooh not sure how I've missed this...

Caldicot castle is unfortunately closed, although the grounds are ok

Also recommend Tintern, and lots of places in the Forest of Dean - Mallards Pike, Cannop Ponds and particularly Beechenhurst's Sculpture Trail

Are you with children? If so, Perrygrove Steam Railway is pretty much opposite Puzzlewood and is really good for kids

The M&S in Newport Spytty is good for greenredeem ;);)

Flights to Australia may/April next year. My friend at work just left to go home at book, she was planning to go next year to see her daughter. Looks like £400-£450.

    Thanks Sunshinestacey / holiday pirates!

I forgot to mention Offa's Dyke (that name makes me :rotfl:) too. Very scenic. I love Puzzlewood, strange place. It's been used as a filming location for Doctor Who and Merlin :)

I thought you must be a fellow Chepstowlian when you said you could see the bridge! MSE is a small world sometimes :)

I didn't realise Caldicot castle is closed, what happened? Is it for repairs by any chance? It was looking pretty ropey last time I went!
